Great bike! The Primo seats pop up quite frquently so you should be able to find one. In general all the Primo parts usually aren't that hard to find because they sold a ton of them bitd.

I have a Primo Hemorrhoid seat in Black and Grey that would fit that bike so much better than the seat that's on it... I think I also have the Primo Stiffies too. I ran DK Iron Cross pedals and they were so good for crank flips.... 😁

Only way it could get any more mid school is if you had a Sharp Hardcore sprocket. I used to ride Steve Crandall's old STA which i eventually broke and sent in and got a 250S. I recently started building up a trail bike and was pretty sure i was gonna go with a Standard Trailboss but then i saw the new Fit Nasty frame and knew i had to do it lol.
Daaaayum, I had the exact Primo Hemorrhoid seat on a classic mid school custom build I sold back in 2017 to some dude off Craigslist!! Wish I remembered name and contact to forward for that seat.
Scotty if you can't get the Primo HRoid seat why not an Odyssey Cobra? That's the first seat I think of when I think mid-school. I threw my Primo away for a Poverty Sofa seat, still the comfiest I ever owned but a little too new for mid-school I think.
Dude, replace that frame with a raw Eastern Hercules and that's my old bike! I was torn between the 500, FBM'S Angel of Death, and the Herc. It was a tough choice. Slip your Airwalks off of those Meat Tenderizers and even your JNCOs wouldn't save you.
The first dream bike i ever saw was my friends redline RL240 chrome with a racing number plate zip tied on the front. It was my introduction to wanting good bikes
that was my first "real" bike that i built up with all new parts and raced in the nbl in shoreham new york (with my number plate ziptied to the bars lol). Redline has a special place in my heart lol
I had an RL, I think 1990. My first non Toys R Us Bmx bike @ age 11. I think it was $379 from the bike store. Mowed a lot of lawns to buy it. Such a great bike, light. The frame was red, but it was actually chrome underneath. After scratching it up a bit I saw the chrome and ended up stripping off the red paint. I liked chrome. My next bike was a GT Pro Freestyle Tour, all chrome. First bike I ever 'assembled' myself at age 12. Chrome GT 3 piece cranks, chrome rims and spokes, chrome bars. I got rid of if after a few months because it was so friggin heavy.
Sweet bike i remember when they first came out, i rebuilt my Volume Hellion 2 years ago with most of the right parts, yes i have primo seat and post also brand new Primo grips and sprocket, and i alway ran 43-16 and so did most of my mates.

Sta 500 frame, s@m redneck stem and pitch forks, T-1 bars( best bars ever), odyssey hazard light wheels, TRIPLE wall in back double wall front, those same primo tires you got: street rear dirt in front, primo powerbite cranks, odyssey black jack sprocket and kink pigs...It was a freaking tank, you couldn't brake it, but it weighted 39 lbs. And i was 13 maybe 100 lbs soaking wet, Imagine the struggle and back pain at the end of day. This was back in around 2001 ish
I really really wanted the STA500 oxide platinum. I would have put a Profile blackjack chainring on it. Somebody at my local mini ramp had one in the early 2000s. Anouther one of my favourites was the 2Hip pork. I had to settle with a Fisbone Ninja.
Didn’t the Primo hemorrhoid have a weird grip under the back of it. I think it was a “feature” for flatland use maybe. Epic bike though, I still have a Solid Duke with Ditch forks, peg bosses and front brake 990 mounts!
I raced with Hutch Bear claw pedals back in the 80's. Those weren't meat tenderizers, they were meat removers. I'm 52 and still have scars from slipping.

I had this same frame new in 2004. I miss it. I have a new one I bought in 2014, but I still miss the old school. Beat the hell out of that frame. It truly is indestructible. Standard is the best!
Had a set of those pegs silver not black they were super long and so so beefy I had them.on a Specialized Fatboy Vegas amazing mid school bike beefy heavy and super dirt tires until I put street on the back man the bike was amazing. Where I live in Connecticut is Zane's Cycles and it was amazing I got flat tire insurance on that bike and asi said those primo pegs were the jam man whole bike was sick been riding since the 80s. Scott Matty we met you guys many times in Connecticut and some other places my brothers picture when he call my phone is a pic of Scotty and my Brother he shocked Scotty because he got Scotty's autograph on a Tony Hawk hat that already had Tony Hawks autograph on it Stand with Scotty was in full effect

I pretty much had the same bike growing up. I’m from the Davenport Iowa area so you had to have a standard if you lived there. Rick Moliterno was our god.
I ran 180mm profile cranks with Crupi Square Pedals, they were so long sometimes the pedal would hit the ground while turning and pedaling at the same time causing a Instant shinner. the cages on those pedals would scrape the ground so much it would sharpen the teeth like a knife. Those pedals were brutal.
I let my brother borrow my bike for a year in exchange for borrowing his longboard for a year, and in that time he got rid of it for a bag of weed like a jackass. My younger brother too, so yes he got a whoppin' lmao. But it had the primo seat, post, and bracket you need!! It is long gone though, luckily it was a throw together spare at the time, but everything on it was sick :( Lonnnng time ago now
My claim was always that I could change ‘the wall’ tyres and have it back together with air in it really quick. People used to just bring it to me, I once de-beaded a primo wall tyre whilst it was still on the bike.

I have a few Hemorrhoid seats, but the rails are bent on all. Hit up some flatlanders for the seat. Almost every flat rider I know has one or more put away. I do have a polished Primo Viking seat clamp if interested.

I used to have a sta500 when I was younger. Loved that bike. I ended up giving it to one of my friends younger kid when I got older and didn’t really ride anymore due to time.
I had a standard lengthy tealish glitter color and I had s&m pitchforks and the same tire set up primo v monster front and primo the wall rear.. I had the same stem to in teal.... these bmx bikes are definitely a piece of bmx history

Those are jive tentacle grips that's what those suction cups are easy jobs were the round squiggly throughout the whole grip and they're shorter in length

When jive handles first came out, they were softer than most any other grip. Maybe they changed to a harder compound by the mid school years?

Diacompe 990 were the brakes at the time. No one really made brakes at that point.
