Totally agree, my fiance took a few classes at California state university [required by his job] but never had a degree and he is smarter than many college graduates. Having studied business back in my college days [community college & University], although i am fortunate not to be in debt, many classmates are indeed under the heavy burden of debt and some are still single as of now. College is more like a money making business than anything, and many grads cannot find job, its keep people enslaved and i had seen girls in college acting very badly.

2. You have to create your own value. Having you value yourself from external factors (car, house, girl) is not valuing yourself at all.
3. Even though you might not want to socialize with romantic intent, don't isolate yourself completely. You're still human. You still need social interaction. Find some like-minded guy friends and do whatever. Be that going fishing, finding God, playing video games (in person) or lifting weights. You need to do something social at least sometimes, or you will go crazy.

It's kind of funny actually.
