Let the man speak dawg.
One of the ways that you show a guest that you honor their presence is by being a gracious host and not interrupting them while they're speaking even though it's your home or platform. I clicked on the video to hear Damizza speak. This becomes great content not because you are over talking for showing that you are just as knowledgeable as he is but, because you are interviewing an expert like he is in his field and asking him great questions and he gets to answer them and there's nowhere else to go for viewers to get these answers except for your episode with him. Please🙏🏿 stop interrupting your guests. We can all sing at the same time but we can't all speak at the same time.
Bro lets be honest alot of these top Rappers podcast dudes are totally crap at interviewing and over talk guests hopefully they stop it but it jars me too.
The "New model" is the "Original Model", use music to sell products. The first labels were companies that built radios, and turntables/music equipment
In our era, just have something to sell, and have a music division. If you make quality music that goes along with your product, you are in essence Branding yourself
zero production cost, unlike Cd s . just an upload, like its gonna destroy music, if none wants to own IRL items, cause that more real fans, not like Spotify 500 song playlists, inside your iPhone .
@OOTheBlueAir To me, it would make music better cause there can be more competition
Music sucks now cause every label is really owned by the same people who want profit, & that causes the people doing the music to try to make "hits" instead of letting the people decide the "hits", but that is taking a gamble on your money
Also, why the need for albums? UNLESS you are doing a project that is about a certain idea, why do I need to wait to hear all of your music to be released at one time? We should be able to hear the music as soon as it's mastered, and released, with video
Take it back to the 1970's when nightclub dj's created the sound NOT radio, but instead of radio its the internet. That would create more real fans cause only they would truly know about the remixes, certain shows, and release of songs that may not get major push
@@RealDealy Music competition is dead. Independent artists go for a loyal fan base that will put consistent money.
Competition needs some sort of union and a standard. We are likely to see more niches than general competition where everything about music is on the table.
The chances of having a right wing reggae group that mixes punk is higher, compared to making two MCs go at each other on how dope their singles are.
@@lugebeatzz8747 its dead cause only a few making money. That changes once crypto changes everything in the next year, which increases competition
Crypto is not just investing, the actual blockchain is a game changer for selling products that contain multiple connections such as music themes for certain products or tv shows or clothes.
Cause you can collect data, you can do special deals that only top fans know cause they spend money. Its so many ways to flip ya products once crypto hits officially( the technology not just investing). It's about applying the knowledge
Bingo
Damizza is a human I never knew I needed to know about. God bless him and his whole everything.
You should check out his Bootleg Kev interview
Great content, just an observation. Please allow the Guest to speak. OMG. we can't talk at the same time
Esso vs nore.the battle of who can over talk the most.
y'all asked all the right questions and he explained the updates with labels buying the DSP's this podcast underrated y'all next up
Esso gotta let the guest speak too outspoken if you know everything why invite the guest to the show just to cut his wisdom let the man speak smh
LMAO
Fax he has not figured it out yet. I gotta admit I skip a lot of their videos because he’s just irritating and that’s sad because they’re really are some gems in these videos and I actually like him. He just needs to control himself a little bit.
Stay off the weeeeeed
20sec in and he cut dude off😂😂
Esso legitimately thinks he’s a star. Watch the interaction between him & Math Hoffa on Yee’s podcast. He said he’s the reason Math’s podcast blew up.
BEST BAG FUEL EPISODE EVER!!!!!
Damizza dropped all game!!!
He's always dropping gems.
Damizza seem like a cool dude. Lots of gems in this clip. The new albums are playlist
At 2:42, Content is Data
& Data becomes Content! 💰
This became my favorite interview this year he spoke the truth when people told me I was bugging wow thanks sir. Thanks bag fuel ⛽️
Man took hiphop and music back to prohibition and bootlegging back in the 1920’s!!! Gahdayum and NOTHING HAS CHANGED?!!?! WHYYYY
Whisupremacy.
"The Game is the Game... Always"
You got to go crazy as a independent artist PPL HAVE TO RESPECT THE HUSTLE 💎🐐
Damizza has given the best explanation of the music business that I've ever heard.
Duh! Why do you think lyor went to TH-cam music like ten fucking years ago. 😂😂😂
Freaking facts bro 😎 ✊🏾
atleast youtube music pay 2-3x more per stream than spotify streams. i think only amazon got better payout rate than them, big corporate companies can afford to pay more royalties
I'm growing my fan base and when I reach 100k I put that on everything thing, a record labels ain't getting nothing from me.
I doubled my listeners two years ago and tripled it last year.
You haven't been listening, and it shows. The labels are behind all of these streaming services. They bought into the game.
Most game dropped in the history of this podcast.
Dey don’t know nun but Dey think Dey do
Straight game😊😊😊😊😊
Why are these guy keep talking over the man they’re interviewing!! STFU guys respectfully. If you know the answer then stop asking the interviewer and just do a presentation.
Bag Fuel Baby!!!! This was a dope episode!
This is the best clip y’all ever released
That prohibition game was 💯. I bet it’ll never go viral . Since vaudeville this shit has been propaganda !
@@Natethagr88 you right
DESTRO07,N.DALLAS TX.GREAT INTERVIEW CONVERSATION !!!
Esso let him finish his sentences.
Right. Trying to step all over the jewels Damizza was dropping
I did not know about the distribution of musics template was set up during prohibition. Now I see what label heads act like gangsters. It's in there DNA
7:58
at that moment i remember they said in the bible that Lucifer was a Angel of Light when he was in heaven
so now it makes so much sense
I hate when ppl say “white ppl do this and Black ppl don’t” in a derogatory way towards their own ppl….. corny af
It all Started when Rawkus sold Big L, Pharaoh Monche, Blackstar, Most Def, and Talib Kweli album to Black Rock Financial Group for millions under the table! 😮😮😮😮😮
Damizza seems very knowledgeable.
GOOD CONTENT FELLAS!!!!
Ya need to Bring this guy back…and stop speaking while he’s talking. Chime in on dead spots
🔥 topic!
ESSO TALKS TOO MUCH!! LET THE GUEST SPEAKER SPEAK!👀🤬🤫 U DONT KNOW EVERYTHING!!
Damizza is the OG. Respect his knowledge
Damizza been saying this.
Eso and nore have to be the worst interviewers
This is the dope podcast. I like it
Well Said❤❤
artists don't need labels anymore, that's it.
good artists with good artists, bad artists whatever
it's all about the email list fam
Wow good discussion
I’m glad I seen this.
Salure damizza gems and esso relax let the man speak. You cant listen if your talking
Wow this is super enlightening lol Damizza knows his shit fosho This reminds me a lot of how Sports make more money off ads and food then tickets or views
For every educated, morally sound aspiring artist who has a dream of becoming a star, you better listen up to this clip and know if you’re not willing to be pimped and taken advantage of you will never get into the music industry. The industry looks for the weak and naive and uneducated to make stars. People they can control through drugs, alcohol, homosexuality and the allure of fame and fortune.
Eazy-E, E-40, Big Oomp, Master P, Too $hort, Sam Cooke, Nippsey Hustle
5:38 Thank you Damizza for saying this, I can’t stand the narrative that black people “don’t help eachother”. Yes many of our communities in Black America have a crabs in the bucket mentality but we as a people wouldn’t have gotten this far if we didn’t have unity.
Thank you Damizza for shutting down that whole " but Black people don't do that" argument. Unfortunately, hiphop is dominated by Black people who don't think highly of other Black people.
Ah maybe that's why T- pain said he'll never do another album, just drop singles
An album in this era is a sacrifice(artistic sacrifice).
"Pimpin ain't easy" but it can be successful 🤨
Music was always used for a promotion and marketing vehicle to get more money in different markets. Nothing has really changed….
The chittling circuit helped black artist commercial and cultural acceptance
Pimp C told ya'll about unity
🙏🏽🙏🏽👑👑👑👑💜💜💜✨✨✨✨
You got the juice now: promotion to people's website now you get a cut
💯💯
maaan they cant let dude speak
Back in the day cats were more focused on making dope ass music nobody knew what was hot right now because we were inventing it as we went and that's the blueprint people are forgetting about
The saddest part is the more respected rapper as successful one does it right in front of your face and you don't even see it he always does the opposite of what's hot right now you see the artist and still don't recognize it you run right back the record label talk and album sales when there's a handful of organic artists doing the opposite and still gaining success without following what mainstream is doing
If you already slow, don’t smoke went help 😂
5:40 took me out and was so real
They always cutting Hyaken off
He don't be talmbot shit bro lmao
@@AllEyesOnSufiCuhzhe’s annoying cause he say dumb shid and talking outta da side of his neck
NO HE USUALLY CUT PEOPLE OFF
@ I’m talking bout this episode series
They talk like these record companies are legit businesses..... Nothing could be further from the truth.
did you just say kendrick lamar needs controversy to get them to listen to his whole album?
or maybe hes build a stellar reputation for being basically the only rapper in his generation to make undeniable classics & has trained the audience (extremely well) to listen to what he says on a deeper level.
Dame dash been gave the game on the record label but they deemed him as crazy
I hate when people ask a question of a guest and spend the whole interview talking over the guest...this is cringy to listen to.
Dont let 5:40 go over your head, racism is a division game. You just witnessed a White man tell you that White people arent all unified like we as black people believe. This shit is about money and power. Rich people unify no matter the race, background, or politics. We as the people of thi country need to put down the division
Y'all gotta stop over talking your guests.
funny seein this when the other day the clip about success Esso said he had to see it....but if you see it dont that mean they broke and fakin it to make it. The game is a trip since 1920s sheesh
All I'm a say is frank ocean, now u go do the math ...
“White people do that, blk people don’t do that” wow man you gotta free your mind if that’s your thought process. We have been programmed to think like this.
Exactly SMH
I like the
what is the point of having guest, If all you're going to do is over talk them? We know how much y'all know about the music industry, we wanna hear his take.
seagram bought universal ,polygram and later warner bros
Seagrams bought universal studios not UMG
@@CarterWilliams-v3i please do your research for your dumbass comments . do your research on edgar brofman and Jean-Marie Messier vivendi and then comeback comment. how was polygram and universal mca combined in 1999 smh
Sorry but the “artist” aren’t poor struggling to pay their rent most of the time so most people gone find it hard to relate to their struggles when they complain not saying it’s right just saying it takes some patience to get to the point where you understand bills come around and have empathy for someone who is financially free as a bird in your orbit complain over spilt milk
You not making any sense. Most artists don't profit from their art, we not talking about huge mainstream musicians. This dude was talking about people like you when he mentioned people focused on the "flashy" lifestyle. A lot of artists work a day job to sustain their brand and invest in their craft.
The artist we are generally referring to are popular rappers are you not watching the interview?
@@GetDaBeltTheir talking about independent distribution, and how to make money as an independent artist in today's landscape of the music industry. Pay attention my boi.
I think Esco is a little off..he can't shut up.
This is why I find it interesting that folks hate Drake so much, ignoring how difficult it is to do what he has accomplished - he literally gave y'all the blueprint but everyone hates him idk I find that pretty funny to me.
The public isn't going to fight for artists, artist need to learn business - music is a business, and no one is going to save your business at the end of the day.
ngl this show fell off by having goofy ass guests like this telling shit we already know about. Yall need better guests and better conversations.
Dey always trying to figure out how much sum one trying to get Dey bag
