Mr. Meyer was THE ONLY reason I took all those hours to actually learn and memorize Bachs cello suite #2 on the fretless bass...now I just gotta get good at it:/ thanks for the inspiration Edgar!!
One of those videos that you tube recycles back to me, every so often as if it knows what is needed to infuse my day with smiles. What a technique and tone. (I am jealous of your music room Edgar. Wide and high. Perfect place to express the expansive sound of your bass)
Très belle musicalité! Superbe travail intelligent et sensible! Pertinence des séquences réitératives qui font naître un univers particulier, développant ainsi l'imaginaire, le rêve tout simplement! Bravo Edgar!
Have you ever pulled a string out of your bass? On one of my practices with my friends and teacher I pulled out the D string. My friends called me a superhuman for the next 3 months.

Aside from the fantastic composition and perfect intonation, I'm completely gobsmacked by the ever so subtle and minimalist bowing. 😮😮😮❤❤❤
Your fingers dance so effortlessly along the fingerboard, so incredible to watch

Was the third movement ever written? I was at his Blair recital two or three years ago and he played movements 1,2, and 4 with 3 left unfinished.
So nice. I love your taste in home design also, windows with a backdrop of all the good green stuff, also nice.
