Just a little advice, when talking about feelings you should say "estoy" instead of "soy". "Soy" is for like permanent things like your name "soy David", your nationality "soy mexicano", your dominant side "soy diestro" or "soy zurdo" (I'm right handed or left handed), and that kind of things. "Estoy" is used for passing things, like your mood "estoy enojado" or "estoy enojada" (if you are a woman), or "estoy feliz / triste". It is used also for places like "estoy en el restaurante" or "estoy en el súpermercado" or "estoy en la cafetería", or even "estoy en México", you know, things that eventually will pass by.
In the case of your comment you should have said "estoy orgullosa" (I'm using "orgullosa" instead of "orgulloso" 'cause I think that you are a woman because of your name). Besides that your spanish is wonderful.

Absolutely love your content! And here is a little tip for those who like rewatching some of the videos for reviewing the vocabulary - you can watch them again but with higher speed and thus listen to the faster speech which is actually how the real Spanish speaking sounds 😊

You got me laughing again! Luz … no luz. This is similar to an earlier video where you explained Near and Far. That reminded me of Grover on Sesame Street. Grover taught kids about near and far by getting close to the camera and then running far away from the camera. Now that I stopped laughing, I can get back to your video.

One issue I ran into is that I could understand this type of material, but didn't understand much of anything when listening to native speakers on TV or listening to music. How does one bridge the gap?
relatable, you just have to keep going! Keep listening to Spanish speakers as much as you can, keep learning new words every day even if it’s just 1 or 2, it will help you in the future, it just takes time, have a bit of patience and perseverance and you can do it! don’t rush things, enjoy the process and you’ll get there! buenos suerte :)
