I created a 10x10 graph paper worksheet some time back by the "trial and error" method. It was "close" but not as exact as I wanted so I searched and searched for an Excel template that was better than what I had created. I wanted an Excel worksheet where I could put custom headers and footers on it and I am using the graph paper for drawing property maps so I wanted the grid as accurate as possible to match the 1:10 engineer scale I use. Couldn't find a template but your video is the most helpful resource I found to fine tune my paper. Thanks very much for posting this, it's been a tremendous help and you have proven once again that it is possible to teach an old dog new tricks!
Great tutorial. Thank you. Can you tell us how to number the border lines instead of the cells? It would be great to number the lines across the top and down the left side for drawing rooms in your house for example. The numbers would be an extension of the border lines.
I know this video is old, but do you know how to extend the grid to the edge of the paper? Meaning, I do not want a white border at all on the paper. I adjusted the margins down to 0 but it still shows a border. I even selected borderless printing but a small border still appears. Any suggestions?
I have excel 2016 for mac. I do not see that "options" section or anything you are talking about. I would really appreciate it if you could make an updated version of this. Thanks!
Super Frustrating as always. Step one is to convert ruler to inches. To do so, press File, then Click Options. Oops. That is not an option on the latest version of word. So.....Im done.

Because Excel for Mac doesn't support that "option".
