Nice vid. did you really get this thing up to 85 mph? Mine shakes so bad at 65-70 that I have been avoiding highways for the most part. I’m old and this is my 1st bike. I am really enjoying 50-55 mph so not sure it’s just me. I am 6’4” and pushing 300 lbs with my boots, jacket, and backpack though.
I’m 280lbs 6ft even and have had it up to 140kph (86 mph) it was on a downhill section of the 4 lane highway. It was surprisingly stable (but still kinda shaky) but it was redlined bouncing off the rev limiter at 10.5k rpm. It was definitely sketchy and not something I would do again unless I had too. So to answer your question, yes it will do 140kph/85mph but it doesn’t especially enjoy it
There's been multiple studies done on factory motors about hard vs soft break in, and the difference between them in a 500mi test was virtually nothing. Feel free to redline that new motor, especially a Honda.
See the light that comes on with high revs . You should not see that running a new engine in. The engine loosens up at about 400 plus miles running in gently, gradually increasing the revs .
Yeah after this trip I stopped running it so high until I broke it in. I originally thought it was a shift indicator which is why I’m running it till it hits it in the video, when I got home I read the manual and saw it was a rev warning… oops lol, it’s all good tho I’m at 1500 km now (930 miles) and have been keeping it lower in the revs
@@viper_offroad You can change that light in the settings. So it doesn't come on til really higher revs as it gets annoying on a long ride. Can recommend remap as it makes bike a lot more eager plus better mpg .

some motorcycle enthusiasts are insistent on calling it driving as one is not merely a passenger or an inactive person on the road. I prefer the term riding. Driving is for cars.
