Hey to explain the opening where you were confused it was the backstory witch is why you didn't see the normal team the only time they join together is in the movie in the anime after they split in the backstory they don't want to play with each other
U telling me that no one has recommended kuroko no basket to him until now ? This show is very highly recommended and a really great show to watch and probably one of the few sports anime that actually got adapted to the end. Ur definitely gonna enjoy watching it
Kuroko is literally a classic basket ball super power school life adventure that makes me happy to be alive. I do recommend it, specially if you've neer seen a sports anime
@@GOTGames And also this one is older and has that nice animation style that feels somewhat more mature compared with Haikyuu, or at least that is how it looks to me
I binged all of Kuroko no Basket when I was in bed with covid, it's SO GOOD and I don't even care about sports. It's also impressive how they managed to introduce so many characters with every team and it was never too much. Definitily up there with Haikyuu.
The best way to think of Kuroko is "The More Anime Haikyuu." Basically, Haikyuu is more or less completely realistic with what we see the characters do. Kuroko will take realism, cherry pick what to abide by, and then toss the rest out of the window. The characters don't really have superpowers, but some of the things you see in it are so exaggerated and stylized that they often feel like they do. Both are absolutely spectacular anime that definitely deserve a watch.
Fun fact: One of the members of Granrodeo is also a voice actor in the anime plus opening 6 is done by Kensho Ono who is Kuroko's voice actor so all the openings are done by the voice actors from the anime
Granrodeo's lead vocalist is the voice actor of our handsome stallion Jean from AoT 👀 Also speaking of FLOW, they've done a collab with each other before for a 7 Deadly Sins opening that you've already reacted to
Kuroko is a GREAT introduction to sports anime, hope you get to watch it one day. Haikiyuu is more modern but Kuroko is definitely a classic by now (maybe slightly less than Hajime no Ippo, but still)
Kuroko no basket Made literally Fall in Love will Basketball 🏀 when I was in school I was playing and imagining Myself entering the Zone 😂😂 Good Fvcking Times 😔
So happy that we finally are getting another sports anime reaction. You need to check out the Hajime no Ippo openings next. It is one of the highest rated sports anime and has an amazing soundtrack with some great opening songs.
Favorite sports anime❤ Btw, the sixth opening is the backstory of the Mc(Blue haired guy, Kuroko) they're teammates from the past and now in highschool they're all rivals
Finally! Ive been yelling this one to you for two years!!! This is the greatest sports anime of all time, there would be no haikyuu or blue lock without the success of kuroko.
Great reaction have been wanting to see your reaction to this show, I just knew the band would suit you I believe Flow and Granrodeo made a collab for an anime opening, maybe that's one to check out? As for the show itself basically it revolves around few players who are incredibly talented in different areas of the basketball game, and it is about how they handle their talents both physically and mentally which leads to amazing character developments. The animation and characters are the strong parts of the series for sure. Hope you get to watch it in the future it is actually really good!
Damn... Been a long time since the last time I listened to GRANRODEO. The first track I listened to from them was the “Detarame na Zanzou”, an opening of Blassritter, released back in 2008.
OP 5 is definitely my favorite, that track slaps. Kuroko's Basketball is what introduced me to sports anime and it's still one of my favorites I've seen, so good. Ace of Diamond is my personal favorite, would highly recommend both
Glad to see you finally got to this classic. It's arguably the other pillar of sports anime along with Haikyuu. When I was getting into anime it wasn't Haikyuu I heard about, but this. It's a great starter sports anime (considering it's actually done so no waiting for sequels unlike Haikyuu currently) so if you get to watching a sports anime, hopefully this is your first one.
It just so happened that I just finished watching Kuroko No Basketball and I highly recommend it, last until “Last game” Made me cry because the anime is over 😢 ❤
In my opinion, Kuroko's Basketball is the best basketball anime. Most people will say that the best basketball anime is Slam Dunk but it's too old for me so Kuroko is my favorite. Btw fun fact the singer of opening 6 is the voice actor of the blue haired guy (Kuroko).
I'm not 100% sure on this but I think the title 'The basketball which kuroko plays' Is sort of a quirky translation from the Japanese title 'Kuroko no basket'. The word 'no' in Japanese implies possession , Like Boku no hero academia in Japanese being translated into My hero academia. But as its a possession particle and not an actual set in stone meaning word its hard to directly translate into English so a few title variations were born. I think 'Kuroko's basketball' makes more sense though , and its just a better title 😂.
The basketball which Kuroko Plays it's why kagami was able to complete with the generation of miracles lol The way Kuroko Plays it's the only way they win every time the story tells you that even if your a short guy doesn't Your shit in it The Kuroko Plays makes basketball easier
@@andhikapratamaputra517 Disagree because sport anime fans are getting too used to shounen aspects in sports. So many amazing sports anime have gone completely under the radar because they don't have shounen-esqe writing such as Ao Ashi, Baby Steps, Days, Giant Killing, Ahiru no Sora. With Kuroko’s basketball vs Haikyuu, I’d probably vote to watch the former first. Mainly because it’s already finished, and also because these opening reactions reawakened the need to rewatch the anime
If you want to watch a sports anime, Kuroko's basket is a good pick. It's about 75 ep long, and compared to Haikyuu, itt's done. If Haikyuu is arguably the top of the sports anime, Kuroko's basket is the best one to start with. Each and Every character are lovable and feel alive. Big Windup and KNB are neck in neck for my favs. Big Windup is a baseball anime and the manga is still ongoing and is nowhere near the end lol I love it for being so homey and just relatable as someone who played baseball and softball 🥹
A list of a bunch of sports anime openings you should react to: 1. Hajime no Ippo 2. Slam Dunk 3. Ping Pong the Animation 4. Run With the Wind 5. Tsurune 6. Chihayafuru 7. Megalo Box 8. Ippon Again!
Here are some great underrated sports anime that are sadly not as popular as they deserve Ao Ashi Baby Steps Days Giant Killing Ace of Diamond Big Windup Ahiru no Sora Prince of Tennis (I guess this is well known actually)
04:24 there is actually a very good reason for that in the anime, I've never noticed that detail before, it's a really cool one once you know what it's about
Kuroko no basket is great and finished it’s very fast paced. Ace of diamond is very underrated and worth the watch, it’s a bit slower but can be enjoyed even by non-baseball fans. You’ve said you like training arcs… there’s as much training as gameplay. The baby loves the music of both anime. Haikyuu is great but it isn’t finished. Run with the wind is very short and entertaining to watch. Free! Is fun to watch as well.
Kuroko no basket is the reason I got into basketball. I used to think it was boring but when I watched this show, minus the “powers”, I realized how technical the game is. I actually joined my schools pep band to play at games
Thank you so much for watching these!! I knew you’d like them :) it’s a great series, the first season is a little slow compared to all the others. The openings kind of feature the best of the animation so not every episode is consistently *chefs kiss*
No need to be a basketball fan or player this anime story telling, character development, passing, antagonists is just excellent. It also known to have the best animation out of sports anime! 🏀🔥
Oh man, it's really unfortunate, but the 2nd OP you reacted to weren't the actual OP visuals! I think the ones in the video were from some one specific episode, but great reaction regardless! It was like a mix of actual OP visuals and non-OP visuals but I think it got the point across.
1. No they aren't facing a evil character lmao 2. The sweatband is actually an important part of the story i have so much to say but ill hold back. lol
I have never been very adept at sports animes, but apart from Prince of Tennis (which I recommend reacting to its OPs has quite a few 🤭👌✨) Kuroko No Basket is one that I can say is among my favorite animes, I was hooked from the beginning with its great Opening, its excellent animation, story and characters! 😍💖
I'm just here to thumbs up everyone who mentioned Prince of Tennis. Wanna talk about longevity that's the sports anime of all sports anime. I was in high school when it showed up on American tv for the first time. I'm 34 now and it's still putting on musicals.
Hajime no Ippo is a good consideration too for the sports genre. Kuroko is up there for sure. Sports anime has plenty of variety but unsure of an ice hockey one existing. If it does must not be popular.
There are Ice Hockey Manga called Supinamarada! and Dogsred by the same author as Golden Kamuy so I am sure it will be popular if Dogsred get an adaptation

Big Windup and KNB are neck in neck for my favs. Big Windup is a baseball anime and the manga is still ongoing and is nowhere near the end lol I love it for being so homey and just relatable as someone who played baseball and softball 🥹
Love this one!
Please this need to be your first sport anime
YES YES YES YEA
Yowamushi pedal has great set of openings
Wait no one recommended Kuroko damn, I hope one day you will watch it
Definitely enjoyed Kuroko more than Haikyuu. My favorite sports anime.
A list of a bunch of sports anime openings you should react to:
1. Hajime no Ippo
2. Slam Dunk
3. Ping Pong the Animation
4. Run With the Wind
5. Tsurune
6. Chihayafuru
7. Megalo Box
8. Ippon Again!
Here are some great underrated sports anime that are sadly not as popular as they deserve
Ao Ashi
Baby Steps
Days
Giant Killing
Ace of Diamond
Big Windup
Ahiru no Sora
Prince of Tennis (I guess this is well known actually)
I was gonna say I'm offended Ace of Diamond isn't on this list, but homeboy above already mentioned it, so I'm good. 😂
@@captainkatsura26 To this day it's the first time I've seen another person mention baby steps lol, love it
Grand blue?
@@captainkatsura26you forgot hikaru no go
This and Hajime no Ippo are my two fafourite sports animes.
Free! Is fun to watch as well.
the best sport anime after captain tsubasa 1983
My favourite sport anime❤
My favorite anime.
After 2 years my man reac kuroko 😭😭
Oh man, it's really unfortunate, but the 2nd OP you reacted to weren't the actual OP visuals! I think the ones in the video were from some one specific episode, but great reaction regardless! It was like a mix of actual OP visuals and non-OP visuals but I think it got the point across.
1. No they aren't facing a evil character lmao
2. The sweatband is actually an important part of the story
i have so much to say but ill hold back. lol
You have to react to this! Its completed btw😊
react to eyeshield 21 opening too luke!
my personal opinion on sports anime:
eyeshield 21 > one outs > kuroko > haikyuu
I have never been very adept at sports animes, but apart from Prince of Tennis (which I recommend reacting to its OPs has quite a few 🤭👌✨) Kuroko No Basket is one that I can say is among my favorite animes, I was hooked from the beginning with its great Opening, its excellent animation, story and characters! 😍💖
17:33 Kenshou Ono is Kuroko's VA. Kuroko is the main character with sky blue hair.
24:39 why does your laugh always reminds me of Clank (From Ratchet and Clank) 😂😂😂
Kensho Ono who sang the sixth opening is a voice actor of Kuroko of the main character
I'm just here to thumbs up everyone who mentioned Prince of Tennis. Wanna talk about longevity that's the sports anime of all sports anime. I was in high school when it showed up on American tv for the first time. I'm 34 now and it's still putting on musicals.
Yes Grand Blue My favourite sports Anime😂😂
3:12 when u say swimming, i just remember anime "Keijo!!!!!" u should check that one out XDDD
18:38 It's just the backstory of them when they were in the same middle school before they went to different high school each one of them
Finally🎉🎉🎉
Been recommending this for over a year.
OMG WATCH KUROKOS BASKETBALL!! I really enjoyed it and I think that you'd enjoy it as well :D
