Broccoli Pasta Recipe/Method (in Georgie's words):
- boil Brocolli in a large pan of water
- chop and fry lots of garlic and fresh chilli in olive oil, be careful not to overcook and put to one side
- once Brocolli is quite soft, take out from the pan of water and place on chopping board, season with salt and chilli flakes and chop finely
- in the same pan of boiling water that you cooked the Brocolli in add the wholewheat Spagetti and cook until very Al dente (not quite cooked and still a bit firm)
- before draining pasta take a mug of pasta water out and add a veggie stock cube to it
- add al dente pasta to the chilli and garlic and olive oil, along with the Brocolli and spinach, add stock water, season to taste and cook until water absorbed and pasta cooked. I also sometimes add a squeeze of fresh lemon.
- add cheese to pasta and mix before serving, with extra cheese and chickpeas on top if you want them
Scone Recipe:
350g self-raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
85g vegan butter cut into cubes
3 tbsp sugar
175ml plant based milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
squeeze lemon juice
pb milk to glaze
jam and clotted cream to serve

Sorry your feeling down! As someone who’s partners in the military I’ve had to endure 3 tours in the past 3 and a half years which is a lot. Tbh something that has really helped me is really valuing that time instead of sitting around ‘waiting’ for them. You will be getting married soon and that family life will come. You probably won’t get much time alone for the rest of your life! Say yes to plans with friends, solo dates, solo trips and get out there and live your life! 🥰🌎🎉

@@sophieroland1192 yes a lot of LDR do it’s really hard 💝 this might sound harsh but you have to accept this is the person you chose and that is the job they do. I would also say very much focus on being very independent having your own life, interests, friends etc otherwise not having your partner there is really hard… also really make the most of the time you do have together and make lots of plans. I hope that helps xxx

It’s natural to feel the way you are at your age but don’t rush it…enjoy every moment of the life you have now because once you do settle down and begin the next phase you can never have that carefree and no family responsibility life back, once you have a baby your heart will never be your own again 🥰 and somehow it will feel like someone has pressed the x2 speed button on your life. Totally digging the pink colour!!!

Regarding ACOTAR, if you don't love it by the end of the second book I probably wouldn't continue. Where the 1st and 2nd book are very different, the 3rd is very much like the 2nd. I personally LOVED the first 3 (Nesta's book I can take or or leave it) but we all like different things so don't force it if it isn't for you

Loved this vlog today. I figured you were MIA due to making the transition after being in Thailand. My heart feels for you both. I'm glad your parents are there. I feel bad for Kenny. While you come back to the normalcy of home, Roo and parents, he is basically alone (except for his work) for the time being. Stick it out. Finding a soul mate is a precious thing in life. I've not been so fortunate. You had mentioned the reading of Twilight series not being your thing. While the movies now are older, (even at my age) are truly very very good. For me it's the romance and the good overcoming evil. Those are things we need in this life. Seeing the good win. I do love your neutrals and browns. You look lovely in those colors, but that pink sweater just looks SO pretty on you. I loved it !!! Silly to say, but my life is nothing like yours (mine is ho hum) . But having your vlog to look forward too is so very uplifting to me because I feel we have a lot of "likes" in common (style, shopping, decorating). Stay strong honey. At your age this is a natural wanting and feeling and it’s not an old persons feeling, it’s just a young person coming into the adult age. I agree with you so much on reading actual books, i just love the smell of books and flipping the pages. I’ve tried reading on my iPad and was gifted a kindle by one of my gfs and it’s just not the same. They are useful for travel though ☺️ but other than that, real books over digital ones any day!

I know I'm still too young, because I'm only 21, but I kind of feel the same way. I'm a bit lost about the future and what I want and what to expect. But seeing that I still have so much time to figure things out sort of comforts me, and that other people are also going through the same experiences. I’m 32 and I still feel this way! Even down to what career I want to do, I feel like I’m late with everything but my age keeps getting older 😢😅 now I’m quite happy with riding the wave and seeing where I’m going rather than trying to force things ❤

Oh my dear! Use this time on your own to indulge in all your interests. I'm 63 and wish I had that kind of free days in my 20's. It must be so hard to be apart, but I do think it will prove your partnership if you can get through, and I'm rooting for you and know you will! Enjoy every minute of your days away from each other.
Hannah you look absolutely stunning and pink. So yes, keep the shirts. Also, it might benefit you to find a apron to cover your lovely clothes. I know for a fact, no matter how careful you are in mixing ingredients. Something is always going to flop out of the bowl or the pan and stain your shirt Or in your case in this video, your lovely new pink sweater. And I definitely would not be wearing my diamond engagement ring and stick it in the bowl of goopy flour mixture you can never actually get that thing cleaned out, except by a professional.
I am 27 and I feel exactly the same way, on the one hand my husband and I want to travel and explore but on the other hand we are more than ready to start a family. It is really hard you are so right.

Hannah, really lovely video. We all wondered how your trip home was and how you were doing. I understand so well that first trip in a long distance engagement or marriage. I remember mine so well from Boston, Mass to Calgary, Alberta. You went a lot further. I always say if I did not grow up in the shadow of Harvard, in a beautiful town outside of Boston, I would choose growing up in the Cotswolds'. I loved hearing your childhood stories. I think it’s totally understandable that you feel sad after coming back. It must be so hard being away from him all the time. My husband has been doing a residential training for a new job past 7 weeks, where he’s away week days and I am finding that hard. I’ve been doing lots of things for myself during the week- reading lots, watching programmes I enjoy, self care etc. That has helped.

With regards books, I think you would love the Seven Sisters series of books by Lucinda Riley, it’s a mix of modern day and history and so engaging to read. I really loved them!

Hannah, every woman that follows you understands your journey. . Understand your body goes through a cycle every 4 or 5 years when you are in your 20s…crazy as it is as soon as you figure it all out you are In menopause and then you are really screwed.

I've been where you are when my future husband and I dated long distance, it was very difficult but it helped us both know that we were certain that we wanted to move ahead in our relationship, it really made us stronger as a couple. We are once again living apart 40 years later. I'm in our new winter home on the west side of the US and he is working on the east side. I really enjoy your videos. You truly want the "best version of yourself" and I find that inspiring! You will get through this season, but don't wish it away because it's difficult, there are blessings and growth opportunities to be had that you don't want to miss out on!

I dont think life is ever settled, and even when things seem to fall in to place, there is still the need to continue to live your own life. This is a balance for both partners in order to each have your own career or purpose, family or friend time, self care or fulfillment, and then your blended life together. This is true whether you are living in the same space, or miles apart

also, please persevere and finish ACOMAF. I had the exact same reaction and was debating quitting the second book and series all together. There comes a tipping point in that book and I bet it will be very soon for you. Please hang in there!

Hi! I did so much research because it’s really important to find someone who is very experienced and has the proper training. Make sure you look at lots of photos of their work etc. but vs. filler it doesn’t make your lips any bigger just more defined - I think it’s a nice more natural alternative! 🤍

I just found your channel and I’m so in love with your content. I love how you talk about nutrition. As someone who used to be in the “macro” lifestyle, What would be your advice to someone who is lifting to build muscle but cannot for the life of me eat as much meat as these fitness coaches recommend. I feel so full and bloated constantly. I am growing muscle but I hate feeling yucky in the process. I 100% want to go whole foods based and less meat but I’m worried about reaching my muscle goals. Adivce??❤
Hi Hannah! it makes complete sense that you feel you just want to get onto the next phase of your life! You and Kenny have 'found the one' in each other, and it is only natural that you just want to be together NOW! That frustration will pass, and this time apart, will make you stronger! I hope you don't mind me mentioning, but as a fellow Vegan, (distressed by any animal cruelty), I looked up 'mulberry silk' recently and was upset to learn about it's production. I won't go into details, but just in case you didn't know, I wanted to mention it. You are so sensitive to animals (The man mistreating his dog in London, and how you cared for the stray dogs when you were with Kenny) so although the mulberry silk items did look lovely...they cause suffering to small creatures. I know YOU wouldn't want THAT! love sue xxx

As i was watching this video a notification came through from my library that ACOTAR was available for me to borrow 😂😂 also v v much recommend getting your books from libraries!!!!!!
I loved the ACOTAR series and I'm like you with fantasy (not a huge fan of Twilight or Hunger Game), but I found myself sucked in by ACOTAR! My personal fave is the 2nd one, funnily enough, but I found myself loving all of them! That being said, if you find you're not enjoying the series by the end of book two, I wouldn't feel pressured to finish the series.
I 100% agree about books vs Kindle..I refuse to buy one…I love a book in my hands..love the feeling of the pages and the smell..
And I have been to England many times and nothing beats a warm scone with clotted cream and jam…
I never heard of Borwick’s baking powder..going to buy from Amazon just for the cute tin…
I hope as time passes the sadness will dissipate some..

I fell in love with the ACOTAR series by the end of the 2nd book. Definitely the second half of the 2nd book is where it hooked me and the 3rd is also one of my favs! I didn't like the first ACOTAR book. But I've heard it really starts getting good at the 3rd book. My friend gave me the second book to read and its gathering dust on my shelf. I just can't bring myself to start it. Lol

I love that I am not the only hold out on ACOTAR! I have it and am planning to read it but haven’t yet. I love a real book but also use the kindle for travel, even around town. If my book is too large to comfortably lug around with me, I will have something going on my Kindle to either read on the Kindle or my phone when standing in lines or waiting at an appointment. So much more convenient.
The lip treatment is amazing. What a great idea. The darker shade they are currently still looks pretty but I’m sure they will feel more like you when they tone down in shade.
The dishes that you made look so good! I wish we had a market to shop for fruit and veg that we could just put in the basket without bagging it. I love that they give you the crate to bring it home.

Oh dear everyone feels that way last 20s. Yes the best is yet to come. But it is ok and healthy to enjoy the moment while looking forward to the future. It is a transition and transitions are always hard.

Ambiguity and uncertainty are super uncomfortable and can be painful, but I recommend trying to lean in! This grey area is the place we grow the most and can gain a lot!
Really enjoy the cooking content as I’m looking to change to more plant based recipes. Also could I ask what you use to control ticks on Roo please? My dog is a similar size and breed.
