I, as a proud Hungarian, would like you not to leave out the contribution of one of the most outstanding Hungarian scientists - Albert Szentgyörgyi, Nobel Prize winner for the discovery of vitamin C - to the understanding of the cycle. So I feel bad when it is referred to as the KREBS cycle. It is Szentgyörgyi-Krebs cycle!

Dr. Mercola, it has been known for years that high fat diet produces too much endotoxins, nothing knew about that. Instead of showing strength in your arms, show your balance - try standing on one leg with closed eyes for at least 30 sec - this will for real reflect your health. Insulin below 2 mIU/mL is not optimal, it indicates your pancreas is underperforming, unless your fasting sugar matching that, around 70mg/dL and hemoglobin A1c is about 4%. But if your fasting blood sugar more than 90mg/dL, hemoglobin A1c is over 5%, than your very low fasting insulin means you got type 1.5 diabetes, your pancreas is not healthy. So tell us your fasting blood sugar, hemoglobin A1c and GGT (has to be below 10 IU/L) - and then we will conclude how healthy you are. Omega-6 in most cases is bad, but gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) is an essential omega-6 fatty acid. Also omega-3 EPA and DHA are essential, and about 20% of the fat in the human brain is omega-3 fatty acids, if you think omega-6 gets oxidized from sun, then how is omega-3 is not affected by sun?

A fat molecule when broken down generate more ATP than a glucose, but the process isn't as fast and efficient compared to using glucose which generate ATP quicker. Compared to oxidative phosphorylation, beta oxidation is a more energy demanding process that take place slower, it require more oxygen to produce each ATP, and has more electron leakage which can form ROS.

Regarding sunlight..What to do when you live close to the Arctic Circle and there is no sun for about 7 months??😅
