I agree. Jump cuts are an abomination, and feel really unnatural when watching them.
I agree. Those 3-4 seconds or even shorter cuts in the same framing are really annoying. They make me nervous, especially if somebody is a gish galloper.
Also as a non-native speaker you think less about phrasing so that it sounds "professional" or somehow "better" than casual talk.
I think the frequent cuts some youtubers make are a sign of superficial "perfectionism".

It really needs it! So dirty. Was wondering what all the tourists think when they visit Hollywood! Not too impressive. It’s sad. My good friend who was managing the entire Chinese movie theatres there finally had to move away. He was living close by. He moved to Hawaii. Talk about contrast! From dirty Hollywood to Hawaii. Now he is really happy. Found a good job there. With his beloved cat. Keep doing these kind of videos. We still love them. Even though you think we might not.

I'm a writer (and now also make videos) so I keep the same hours that you do. I completely understand why you like being out in the middle of the night. It's quiet, there's no traffic, but things are still lit up and it's just tranquil. Plus you still get out in the sun on Venice Beach so you don't suffer from Vitamin D deficiency. ;)
Keep doing what you enjoy bc others like myself enjoy it too. I also have crazy sleeping hours. I can see different places in California that I have always just caught a glimpse of from movies or the news.
