- In this vlog we take you all GLAMPING IN THE MOUNTAINS AT 150 PEAKWAY MOUNTAIN RESORT 🇵🇭 in CEBU PHILIPPINES. More specifically Dalaguete Cebu. And let’s just go right ahead and cut to the chase: IT WAS THE BEST TIME EVER 😍
When we were first invited to stay at 150 Peakway Mountain Resort (thank you 150 Peakway, Mika, and Fox Homes PH) we were beyond excited. We were already following their instagram page (here: / 150peakway ) so we already knew their clamping tents and domes were gorgeous and someplace we had someday hoped to stay. They must have heard our prayers haha. However, what we quickly were exposed to was soooo much more than that. A staff that would rival the best of any 5 star hotel in the world and a compound so incredibly laid out, thought through, and landscaped that we almost instantly knew 24 hours wouldn’t be enough (it was but you know when you go someplace that’s incredible you just don’t want to leave 🤣).
Perched high in the beautiful mountains of Dalaguete Cebu, 150 Peakway is an absolute paradise that deserves to be a destination for anyone looking to go glamping, camping, or to spend time with family, friends, or a loved one. If any of you are looking for a place to celebrate an anniversary, or just wanting to escape for the weekend, 150 Peakway is your place. Also, they don’t just have domes and tents they have a villa (good for 8 people) and two suites (good for 4 each) on the grounds too. But don’t worry we will be showing you those too in this video 🤗
Families this place is just waiting for you all to enjoy as well. If you have children, no matter the age, there is a children’s playground, a respectable depth pool, fire pit complete with s’mores and a movie, and so so much more. There is not a single person who can’t find joy and excitement in their stay at 150 Peakway. They take the work out of everything so you can just relax and have an amazing time.
Did we mention each dome comes with their own inflatable hot tub and the glamping tents their own fire pits? AMAZING!!!! And don’t even get us started on their food selection, bar, and the food itself.

It was great though and most certainly would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to experience glamping or just a night away from the world to be in your own little one. Next time you visit the Philippines Tom, you have to, have to, HAVE TO, stay in Cebu for at least two weeks. There’s so much to explore on this island and too many experiences to partake in! We’ve had cebu be our home base for the past 5 months and we’re still discovering new things 😅 definitely add 150 Peakway Mountain resort to your list since it’s right next to the two INFAMOUS peaks

The design of the entire resort is EXTRAORDINARY! You can tell a lot of thought process went into the design of it all. It makes you feel at home and at ease 😊. Wow, we’ve never heard of the two locations you’ve recommended 🤭 thank you so much and we are adding them to our list of places to visit. If you don’t already know by now, we love being in the provinces and it’s in these cute quaint towns where the true beauty of the Philippines is found ❤️❤️❤️
@@proudlynomadic Catmon, Boljoon, Sibonga, Argao etc. are called munisipio in Cebuano - (munisipios have their center that can be called towns in english). The Fatima Shrine in San Remigio is only one of the 3 venerated Replicas worldwide (what sets it apart from others is its structure is copied exactly like Fatima shrine in Portugal), San Remigio is also near the Bantayan Island and Daanbantayan which is the tip of north of Cebu. Catmon is famous for its Millet called Kabog bodbod you will like it if you have tasted bibingka in Balamban :). You will find that every munisipio in Cebu has some especialty that can only be found in their place. Cebu maybe a small Island but it has contributed above its weight in Philippines history, food, culture, people. Cebuano is spoken in Visayas and Mindanao and have more speakers than Tagalog.

150 Peakway is incredibly beautiful ❤️ The majestic luscious green mountains surrounding the location is breathtaking 🙏 The different colors of plants and flowers are just gorgeous. The exterior of the dome are set up perfectly with the hot tub and the cozy table and chairs. The interior is decorated with plenty of pillows for you Will. Wow guys, Cebu really has it all :) I was telling the same to another American vlogger who just arrived in PH around 2 weeks ago from Thailand and is now there in Cebu. I said if he plans to stay here for good (which i think he has in mind now to do), Cebu is the perfect place as he loves beaches too.
150 Peakway is great, especially that it's in Osmena Peak which is one of our country's natural wonders. But honestly, i still prefer Alhibe Farm. To me, it's more homey and has my kind of aesthetic. The geodesic dome there in Peakway is cool, but i'm not into the futuristic style. Yeah, i love Star Wars, but i'm more Ewoky than Droidy, lol.
You know, one thing i really love about our country, and which i've heard other foreign vloggers say also, is that our landscapes are so varied. You go to places like, say, Baguio with all its pine trees and cool weather, and you feel like you're not in a tropical country anymore. Or go to the highlands of Tagaytay and you feel like you're in Switzerland or Canada, or Batanes and feel like you're in Ireland or New Zealand. And ofcourse, we also have some of the best beaches in the world. But even our beaches are varied looking. Like the beaches here in Luzon esp the northern part (Pangasinan, Zambales, etc.) look quite different from beaches in the south. Less coconut trees or hardly any at all, but they have their own unique beauty... Plus we have a lot of natural wonders too like Chocolate Hills, Mayon Volcano, etc. And man-made wonders also like the Banaue Rice Terraces (a UNESCO World Heritage Site.) That's the site they used for the Thanos ending scene in Avengers, btw.
And you know, i just discovered another gem of a place yesterday. It's very off the beaten track though. It's in Southern Luzon in Camarines Sur. It's called SIRUMA. Some say it looks a bit like Batanes, though i think it's still quite different. And the beach there is awesome too. Definitely a place i would love to visit if and when i am able to travel again.
Anyway, happy Sunday guys. And again, great editing, staging and narration on your vlog. But honestly, having done some work before on tv and film, i can imagine you setting up the camera for some shots, walking or driving away, then coming back for the camera again, hehe.

Haha Moondust we love the way you described your love of Alhibe and Star Wars 🤣. We get it 100%!!!! We love both but for different reasons (mostly exactly what you said!!!). As for Cebu, we absolutely love it here. It's true though, the landscapes vary from place to place as if you have traveled far and wide when the reality is a hour drive you will be entering a landscape that is completely different. I think that's one of the MANY reasons we love Cebu! Thanks for all those places you mentioned because most of them are on our to-do list either this round or the next time we come to the Philippines (our visas are good until January but we might go home in December to see our families whom we haven't seen in over 2 years!). We really pray we are able to buy a condo in Cebu sometime so we can always have a home here ❤️

Awesome episode guys and always great drone shots and features. Never knew a place like this exist in Cebu until now. Keep em coming, drinking my beer and eating burgers here in Manila and kicking it with the fam.
There are dozens of glamping and boutique accommodations like that all over Cebu, from the mountains to the beaches and islands. They're mostly expensive so not many popular vloggers feature them because their followers/subscribers frown on them visiting expensive places. When they do, they won't vlog it. There have been many popular foreign vloggers in the Philippines who portray themselves as 'pang-masa' to their subscribers that they won't vlog their R&R (Rest and Recreation) in expensive resorts. Though there are few exemptions. Cebu is the birthplace of local glamping concepts in the Philippines with Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort in Oslob started the local trend.

Yeah, the more we research the more we have found 😱. And you are VERY right about the cost. They can be relatively expensive, even to us, but sometimes it's nice to just have a place to escape when you want to 'splurge' a little bit and experience beyond a normal hotel room (though 99% of the time that's literally where we are 🤣).

That is so much beautiful living on that luxurious glamping. Think that is way better from the glamping I saw at El Nido as it has its own Toilet and Bath but the greenery and landscaping is equally beautiful. You two are so blessed having experience of such so beautiful places and looking for your next trips.

BATAAN - Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar
PAMPANGA - do the Mt. Pinatubo Crater Hike (must-do); eat Aling Lucing's original Sisig (where it was invented)
ZAMBALES - Anawangin Cove and Nagsasa Cove (must-see); Capones, Potipot and Magalawa Islands with beautiful beaches.
BAGUIO - our summer capital in the mountains with lots of pine trees and cool weather. Famous places there are Mines View Park (great overlooking view and see Igorots in their colorful native attire), Burnham Park, Camp John Hay, and Strawberry Farm where you can pick strawberries.
BANAUE RICE TERRACES (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) - the site they used for the Thanos ending scene in Avengers. I would also recommend you stay at Native Village Inn with native Ifugao huts accomodations and a spectacular view of the Batad Rice Terraces. Then maybe go to SAGADA and see the Hanging Coffins of the native Igorots.
(Sadly, I am leaving out our VIGAN Heritage Site in ILOCOS. It's closed now because of the damages done by the recent earthquake.)
East of Manila (only about 2+ hr. drive from Manila):
TANAY - sea of clouds attraction in the many mountain resorts there; Daranak Falls

@Willl and Jose...You might like Soul Sierra Retreat Resort located in the mountains of Cebu City, specifically in Babag 1. It can be accessed via Transcentral Highway on your way to Temple of Leah. From Temple of Leah, it's about 3 kilometers drive on a narrow but well-paved mountain road passing through lush jungle. There are few other soul-healing resorts located in the mountains of Cebu City/Balamban area such as the Serenity Farm and Mountain Resort, Mabini Skyview Resort, Adlawon Vacation Farm, EVO Nature Camp (including glamping domes), The Dales at Terra Cotta Manor, The Mist Mountain Resort (part of The Fog House) complex.
This is the first time we’ve heard of these resorts Giorgio and best believe we’re going to look into them. From our previous resort blogs you can tell we love nature and if an accommodation has nature than SIGN US UP! Truth be told we have seen deigns for serenity farms and Evo nature camp when we drive to Balamban for the weekends with our adopted Filipino family hehehe 🤭☺️❤️ thank you so so so much and we love that you’re enjoying this type of content ✨

Stay in Cebu till the end of the monthe you guys. Witness the Pasigarbo sa Sugbo Festival of Festivals at the Cebu City Sports Center on the 28th. It's a cultural festival of the Cebu Province which is different from Cebu City's Sinulog Festival in January. It's been on hiatus for 2 years due to the COVID19 pandemic. I'm sure you will love the colorful cultural dances of the 50 contingents. Keep the fun and enjoy your stay in the island.

Wow! Stunning resort,but I'm sure it's a bit pricey? First time I've heard and seen it here,although I've been in and out Cebu in the last 10 years..There are a lot of underrated resorts also in the Northern Cebu, but I've been planning to visit Cebu Safari Adventure Park in Carmen town,Cebu.

Honestly, 150 Peakway is the best destination if you have a special occasion to celebrate or if you’re just needed a staycation without having to book a flight ticket. So much to see and do up on the mountains and you’ll want to visit again upon checkout 😅❤️ as far as the safari, we’ve been meaning to check it out as well!!! We are planning to go at the end of September when our friend comes back from her travels 🙌🏽❤️✨
