Better build quality than the Chevrolet Ute, which isn't made anymore thanks to Chevrolet pulling out the country. I have the 1.6i safety pack. Yes its a bit underpowered, but I bought it knowing that it is and it doesn't bother me because I never wanted it as a race horse. The clutch shudders at times at certain revs, which bothers me and Nissan can't find a problem with the clutch, so I just live with it and try play with my revs to avoid the shudder. Really besides the clutch shudder, I'm very very happy with my NP200. It is what it is. It's a basic utility vehicle and its fine for long distance. I've never felt uncomfortable in it when traveling the long road. I feel your review was a bit harsh and you didn't really review it for what it is.
@@mohlomphehi I have not owned a Chev Ute before but from what I've seen, the NP200 is more reliable. I've driven a few Chev Utes before and must say I prefer my NP200. The company I used to work for had a Chev Ute and an NP200. The Chev Ute gave lots of electrical problems. To the point where the employees didn't want to drive it. The NP200 was driven hard for 300 000km before I left the company. I'm not sure if that NP200 is still with the company but the only issue they had that I was aware of was that it used about a quart or two of oil between fill ups. I once drove that NP200 and besides a looser feeling gearbox and a clutch that took a bit late, it felt fine
What makes the Accelerator get stack is actually the drivers floor mat which tends to move,i sorted out this issue by putting zip ties mounted to the seat rail from the drivers mat....once this was done the sticking issue was resolved.
A salesman at Nissan Kempton Park said Nissan does not make the Nissan NP200 Stealth,Nissan Np200 ice,he said all those are after market productions...how true is it???
THIS Nissan cannot be a 1.6L engine to judge by the 126NM torque. You get this pulling power from 1.4 L petrol car. My Nissan XGear Lavina 1.6L developed about 85/86 KW and 154 ÑM of torque. My Ford ikon 1.4 L dev. 128NM also my Ford Figo 1.4 L 128 NM . This Nissan? May be its an 8valve engine and not the 16valve twincam of the Lavina.
drove a citi golf for years, which dont come with aircon, so I suppose I got used to it. but older you get, the more unbearable the heat gets. but i'm in no position to upgrade my vehicle, so will stick with it for now.

Have the exact same problem with our NP200, the dealership adjusted it but it's still gives issues. It's actually very cheaply made for the price.
