The worst jet in entirety of WT! The only thing that is worse is P-59 in full uptier, cause this thing is like the worst jet fighter of ww2.

@@alexturnbackthearmy1907 The Kikka isn’t bad. It can be used effectively, but it isn’t as insane as other jets at it’s br in any way, so you have to fly it very conveniently.
@@TeenWithACarrotIDK Not kikka. 262. Its trash, short 30mm is like the worst gun to try to use against anything, and every damn plane is better (except for kikka, they are kinda similar, but specialize in different things, kikka also has guns you can hit at least something with).

2 of 3 HE shells have very high fuze sensitivity threshhold. When firing HEF with 0,8mm basically you have to hit a tough part of aircraft (engine, spar, armor, landing gear, weapons, fuel tank, pilot) to make the shells explode. So if you just hit fuselage/wing skin, your shell passes clean through.
HEF-T or HEFI-T (can't remember) has 0,1mm fuse sensitivity, but it has rather small explosive filler, so either way - it's frustrating as hell, basically you can't use any mixed HE/AP belt, you can't use the most potent HE shell (HEF), it's tracers belt or bust.
These videos are actually some of the best. Sure its not flashy but shredding in a niche plane that a lot of people don't know how to fly is amazing

Ki-200 was my first jet ever in War Thunder. Gimmicky, fun, i think i got 2 kills in 15 battles.
Kikka was my second jet ever. I finally have fuel for the entire match. Somewhat 1 kill every 5 matches.
Then, this veteran War Thunder players comes with "Kikka will test you" "You are playing chess" while i'm a complete newbie to even Energy fighting and bnz.
I guess i should swallow my pride and abandon the Japanese air tree until im good enough with the game
I grinded a lot of Japan with the Kikka a couple weeks ago and tbh it felt surprisingly good. Same with KI-200
Bro pulled so many "Nah, I'd win" moments.
Starting off with ONE cannon with 50 round and at a tier you can see Su-9s and shit is just plain rediculous. Japan gets cucked out of so many useable planes because either 30 min min fuel or uptiered to shit bc no one bothers to learn how to fight it
KI-83 once it's fuel gets down around 15mins is based tho
I recently played Javelin for Britain and it also very demanding to your skill, maybe even more than kikka
The Kikka was my very first jet. It took me quite a bit to learn, but now it holds a special place for me. I miss when it was 6.7. Also, I will never understand why it’s stock grind curses you with only one gun.
It used to be 6.3 and recently the guns were nerfed to 770m/s instead of 920m/s like all Japanese 30mm's
I actually had the best time in a stock grind with the kikka. Every match I had stock with it I got upwards of 5 or 6 kills and at the very least 2 kills. And I was only level 50 I believe at the time. So I don't really see the point people are saying about it being terrible at stock. But I'm interested on seeing why people think that.
@user-ei2bu9kb6n the guns were better back in the day, the plane was a lower BR, there was less things that were just better than it like the su11 for example, so on.

kikka is honestly fun to play. hard but so rewarding when you pull off a kill.
could you fly out the il28sh? its actually kinda fun plane cause you can equip 2 gsh23ls and kill anything in a head on and the air spawn actually gives you a massive advantage over any everyone else while the turret is a great way of discouraging anyone from tail chasing you
Hey Defyn, have you tried flying the F-16As at 12.0 recently, the matchmaker right now is quite forgiving for the plane. You mostly get downtiers nowadays rather than uptiers. Its almost like 11.0 but at top tier

can you do a quick video about your settings? im trying to use the keys but it turns and pitches too much and the mouse still influences the plane. i have the mouse view and mouse aiming set all the way down, are you holding free look in the loop? sometimes your ailerons go hard and sometimes they go a little i cant tell exactly what you're doing with ur fingers and it never looks like you're using the keys when you're shooting someone. i might be better off just getting good at mouse aim mode idk but please link the video if you've already made one.

It doesnt really keep up with the 262s. It could really be moved down in br just a hair. Maybe 6.7, 6.3 minimum to be just a hair higher than the salamander.

This is the onky Aircraft that I believe should have too Seperate variants with the Otsu(I believe the modification name) at 7.0 and the Kikka(Early) at 6.7 much like how the Yak 15's are
Overall air should be decompressed by moving Props between 1.0 to 7.0 with Shitfire mk 24, F2Gg, and P51 to 7.0. Early Jets, late WWII bombers(B29/Tu4), and A2D from 7.0-8.0, and traditional Jet fighters from the 1950s and onwars from 8.0-15.7

Oh ya the Kikka I sure really did like this when it was a bit lower BR it was a monster. I like 🪰'ing heavy manuverable🧱's gets your mind and equilibrium strong 😁 This thing is not fun fighting against the La200 that thing smokes the $h!T out of the Kikka. Wait what brain are you supposed to fly it with the one in the pants I been doing it ALL wrong this whole time. Good choice of plane is nice to see these ranks being shown.
There was a nerf with the update??? NO WONDER WHY IM MISSING!!! I used to snipe with the 30mm. I’ve found that the default belt works best after this last update too
The nerf was back in like September and affects both the Ho155 and type 5 30mm for japan
And rocket booster were bugged too when i first played it (now fixed though). Had to J out and rejoin to ensure it not rip undercarriages off.

Definitely fights like a 190, but as if it was on rails. Odd that the type 5s are struggling. I've had a lot more luck with the j2m5, at least against fighters. I could forgive the faults of this plane if the guns worked like they used to.

Kinda unrelated but how can I make the aiming circle follow the crosshair when controlling the elevator manually? Mine just stays in the starting position making manual elevator control annoying.
freelook behind your plane (far enough to make the circle go off screen) then look forward again while still holding the freelook key

1:50 what was the reasoning for going after the F-80 instead of the dorito? If that Ho229 wasn't completely tunnel visioned, it looks like you were right in front of him and he could have killed you easily.

There is a special place in hell for airfield campers...
Since the "skill" bonus was introduced any plane that requires extended fighting has become so hard to play due to all the thirsty idiots that swarm in on your fight to take the kill. I have been dying more to TKs and rams from sweats trying to cut in on the fight, then to enemy planes.

Wow almost starting to think DEFYN does have paid actors in the game I have seen quite a few of the same people in these games as we as in games before on other videos.....ha you ain't catching me on this one and being stiff is a given when using the Kikka 😋 Nothing wrong clapping the enemy for a second time(double tap to put em asleep) when its a F-80 and you have Germany as the team nation along with Japan.
