    Davanagere Sambaar Powder is a masala powder named after the location it originates from - Davanagere, Karnataka.
    It is mainly used for making sambaar using Toor Dal (ತೊಗರಿ ಬೇಳೆ) and various vegetables.
    But it can also be used in curries (ಪಲ್ಯ) with Ridge Gourd (ಹೀರೆಕಾಯಿ), Cluster Beans (ಚವಳೆಕಾಯಿ), Brinjal (ಬದನೆಕಾಯಿ), etc.
    Ingredients:
    (DRY ROAST ALL BELOW INGREDIENTS)
    Cloves - 1 Tbsp (~5g)
    Marathi Moggu - 1 Tbsp (~5g)
    Japatri - 1 Tbsp (~5g)
    Cinnamon - 1 Tbsp (~5g)
    Stone Flower - 4 Tbsp (~5g)
    Mustard Seeds - 2 Tbsp (~25g)
    Poppy Seeds - 3 Tbsp (~25g)
    Methi Seeds - 1.5 Tbsp (~15g)
    Cumin Seeds - 1/2 Cup (~50g)
    Coriander Seeds - 2 Cups (~125g)
    Turmeric Powder - 2 Tbsp
    Optional ingredients:
    You can add below ingredients to the powder for more body in your sambaar/curry.
    Bengal gram - 2 Tbsp (~25g)
    Green Gram - 2 Tbsp (~25g)
    White Rice grains - 2 Tbsp (~25g)
