See what I do is make a 1x2 that has a bunch of incomplete and missing walls ceilings and foundation around it with a furnace and a box on the outside foundation to make it look like a raided and decaying 2-2 with homecoming. I build 4 of these "fake raided" bases in a close range of each other preferably in a low traffic area, and distribute my loot between them, works almost flawlessly
You don't want ur base too look nice u want it to look like a shit shack that would be a waste of time and resources to raid. Also use tc and furnaces as storage do NOT use boxes, there's a huge hacker epidemic, they have box esp and will locate through the walls and snatch yo shit

You put the lock on the door and then you lock it when I first started I would put the door and then the lock but no one told me I had to lock the door and I had enemies coming in my base
