Every time I try to make sense of the idiotic story with its grotesque dialogues & unexpressive voices it gets crazier!! The girl's age according to looks is between seven & twenty (as she tells her mother of a date she's going out with), so her mother must be between 27 & 50 but still gets herself pregnant by some tiny misunderstanding... Steven of the "boys" couldn't have been stupider by trying for a date with an emergency phone operator while informing her of an accident he's been the cause of (are Spaniards really such idiots?)... The sudden change of language into German just adds a touch of lunacy not really needed more of, due to the story being dreamed up probably by a high on psychiatric drugs mental patient in a random State hospital.

What’s with the robotic voice! If we’re going to understand Spanish better, we have to get used to intonation not this monotone stuff. If these characters are going to show feeling in speaking, a computer voice just doesn’t do it for me. We need natural speaking to get the rhythm. When I was in grade school we had little reading groups with the teacher. But we sounded like actors in a play because we had expression in our reading. Nothing monotone. This is just hearing a computer voice reading words. No life to it. Real people don’t talk like this.

@@russ1409 I can’t stand robot voices and it’s sad that video people do it the lazy way with robotic voices. But I’m determined to learn more Spanish anyway. I don’t need a snot like you dictating my actions.
I'd like to improve my Spanish but this lesson is soooo boring despite the relevant content. The characters voices are soooo monotonous. Is this how Spanish people speak in real life? Is this how parents talk to their kids, especially niños????
It's a good idea to have subtitle but the story is awful - about a mother having an affair with someone and got pregnant! Not impressed! 🙄
