I think that there’s sort of a symbolism between what Deadpool is imagining, and what’s actually happening when he’s killing the heroes, the dreams could represent the sometimes campiness of older comic books, while what’s actually happening represents the modern state of comic books, somewhat dark and brutal.

See, my problem with these stories is that every rule is broken in the name of Deadpool's popularity. Luke Cage for instance has indestructible skin. Deadpool could never lop his head off. Yet, it happens here. It's really a bit silly that reality bends just to have a story. Don't get me wrong, reality bending from beyond the 4th wall is interesting but it also seems so lazy.

I do kinda agree, like yes it may be fun but the inconsistency of it all bothers me a bit. Like how Deadpool was able to defeat Thanos and The Watcher. Or how he was able to beat magical and cosmic powerhouses like Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch and Phoenix. Honestly deadpool kills the marvel universe felt interesting and really spoke to his character. It showed that at times deadpool could be serious and at the end of the day he was the saddest character in marvel, the only one that knew that everything that happened to them was for our entertainment. I loved how he killed them because he knew the sad truth and wanted to save them from his fate. *This* just felt like they were trying to milk a popular character with a story line thats been done. Deadpool’s been brainwashed so he can kill every marvel hero and villian? WTF. I also fail to understand why marvel didn’t go with a more powerful hero.

I have only two things to say about this:
1) Impossible it may be, lets all just remember that deadpool may as well be the batman of this universe with his uncanny ability to exploit his enemies's weaknesses, come out with all this random ass tech and gadgetry, and near unlimited budget for bullets, explosives, vehicles, and subway tickets.
2) Manchester.
I always found this comic series really dumb. All the heroes are conveniently weakened just so Deadpool can easily defeat them.

Yup, hasn't Deadpool killed the Hulk by simply following him and then shooting Bruce Banner? Something that would usually not work since, as Banner put it in the movies, "the big guy just spits the bullet out".
Also, I am pretty sure that simply electrocuting Wolverine would not work.

Well, he is pretty much unbeatable when he is serious thats the thing... How do you deal with a guy that had skills to rival wolverine while he himself was a normal human, who has btw also become immortal since then?
You see multiple times that if he wanted to, he could dodge everything that hits him, and the only real reason he is ever hit is cause he knows it wont work.
Honestly, based on the "evidence"... there isnt a single hero in the marvel universe that could seriously stop deadpool, if we dont include some cosmic being just deleting him, cause thats never something that would happen. Especially not when he has his teleport belt which he has in some stories (and in others not cause its kinda overpowered). He is even resistant to a lot of mind magic cause he is insane.
dkz nilolaj The story is technically non-canon/ a what if story/ an alternate universe. Everything that happens in it is for entertainment value only and is not meant to be realistic to the characters. In reality, Deadpool wouln't make it that far. Many of the characters he beat in this story is because of plot, such as becoming Ultron or getting the Venom symbiote to kill spider-man. Even with the power of plot, he wouldn't be able to defeat characters like the Hulk (Bruce Banner version), Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider, etc. (unless the plot gave him an infinity stone or something like that). While Deadpool is an impressive street level anti-hero (especially when he is serious like you said), he is still nowhere near these high-tier characters and is still below certain street level characters, such as Spider-Man. This story should not be taken as the kind of level that Deadpool is suppose to operate at.

I love how in both versions of deadpool kills the marvel universe, the mad thinker is the one who ultimately is responsible for triggering an end to the madness. A nice touch in this one.

Everyone is depowered in this story. Half of the heroes that showed up with Hulk could have handled Deadpool on their own: Scarlet Witch, Dr. Strange, Black Panther, Vision, Captain Marvel...

Oh, yeah. Most character's power levels fluctuate depending on the writer and what the story calls for. And he can be killed. Hard, but doable. Throw him in acid or lava, disintegrate him, ect. But like I said, I like the Deadpool, but all he really has is regeneration and is slightly enhanced physically. Just because he's crazy doesn't make him capable of all that. If it did, we'd all be fucked. Lots of crazies.

@@ghostviper8906 It was a gruesome scene if they actually showed Ms. Marvel and the other's death. So instead, they showed Devil Dinosaur's dead body.
We'll all have to assume that Moon Girl, the power pack and Ms. Marvel's bodies are in there somewhere.
Plus, Devil Dinosaur is HUGE. So it makes sense that his dead body was visible than the kids.
