The video is so very helpful (Thanks afterboards) but bhaiya should genuinely consider asmr istg I've never heard a voice that has made me feel more at ease
Paused the video and was able to solve linear equation, probability, t/s/d, reasoning and unit questions :), only started preparing yesterday and so far have only completed ratio and proportion and am also a non - maths student so finally QA me thoda sa confidence boost hua
the chess question, it felt easy here because we had the board visualised infront of us, im sure in exam many would not even understand what the question says
Fair enough, however, chess-based/grid-based PnC questions are very common and almost every learning material features that. If you're visualising for the first time, there may be hurdles, but if you've practiced PnC from any competitive exam perspective, it won't be that hard! Even if we go by the longer route, you have an 8x8 board, so initially, you have (8*8 = 64) places to put, then one row and one column gets blocked, so you have (7*7 = 49) places to put. Like this, you'll get 64 * 49 * 36 ... * 1 (same as 8² * 7² * 6² * ... * 1) ways. We divide it by 8! as we 8 identical pieces. We get: (8! * 8!)/(8!) = 8! If we even ignore this question, there was another set-theory question, which was longer, but tested a very basic concept (The number of 3-digit numbers not divisible by 3 or 4).
Bhailog 2:48 mai aap log 1+1/2+1/3+1/4 ko 12+6+4+3/12 bhi likh sakte ho phir 12 ko numerator mai bhej dena aur denominator ka sum 25 ban jayega jisse 400 directly kat jayega
written solutions h and some handwritten, video sol. aren't there practice tests hai and sectionals etc and they've provided detailed sol'n (no video solutions tho)
Heya, we've our 'most asked topics' based on 5 years data on our WhatsApp Group. At the same time, don't blindly rely on it, we never know if IPMAT paper-setters get a new idea this year. Here is a video by a non-math student who got into IIM Indore: th-cam.com/video/lpmythahwEw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZMSqjGtSIyGCiv38
IPMAT Indore has an on-screen calculator, similar to the one we have in our mocks. You can't use keyboard for it, you'll have to click on the buttons through the mouse.
You just guessed one of our next video! The DI was also solvable in less than 5 minutes! With that, we've solved 11 MCQs and 4 SA questions, successfully clearing the cutoffs!
but clearing cutoffs doesn't guaranatee selection na, you need to score much higher getting just interview call, and not getting selection would mean the same as compared to such person who hasn't cleared cutoffs. Both didn't make it@@AfterBoards
100% agreed. It is definitely not easy in the exam hall... but you can make it possible (maybe not with perfection) to pick at least a good portion of easy questions by enhancing your math skills and practising mocks where you implement these strategies. Since we have data of almost 3,500+ mock attempts, one of the biggest problems students face is putting 5+ minutes into a question that they don't solve correctly. It's 12.5% of their time gone because they weren't able to leave it after 30-50 seconds and come back to it at the end.
An on-screen calculator is present in Indore's exam only. You can't use the keyboard for it. You'll have to use your mouse to click on each of the buttons.
00:24 MCQ 1 - Number System - Unit Digits 00:51 MCQ 2 - DILR - Reasoning 01:42 MCQ 3 - Arithmetic - Time/Speed/Distance 02:55 MCQ 4 - Modern Math - Permutation/Combinations 03:45 MCQ 5 - Geometry - Coordinate 04:57 SA 1 - Modern Math - Logarithm 06:06 SA 2 - Arithmetic - Time/Work 08:03 SA 3 - Number System - Remainders 09:08 MCQ 6 - Modern Math - Probability 10:09 SA 4 - Algebra - Linear Equations
I am an IIFT student. Most of the students here scored 180-210.Highest scorer had 241,he left IIM Ranchi.Highest verbal section score was 172 and highest QA score was 40+80=120.Some students scored exceptionally well in VA and fucked their maths, but still made it to IIFT.But overall crowd is good as there are 3 students who left IIM-Rohtak,1 who left Ranchi and around 3-4 who left Jammu,Bodhgaya. Around 7-8 students were in the rank range of 75-100 in IPMAT Indore as the general cutoff was 73.Moreover IIFT has the toughest ipm course among all ipm programs including IIM-Indore.
IIM Indore has an on-screen calculator. I've personally used it to solve a question back in IPMAT 2021. The same has continued in 2022 and 2023. Rohtak and JIPMAT do not have an on-screen calculator. However, Indore does, so do our IPMAT Indore mocks.
