If there was a way you wanted to evolve the pokemon formula what would it be? Mine is to make the type effectiveness more complicated. I'm sick of having only the Super effective ×2 damage idea being the way to go all th time. What if it was like some type effectiveness had stat chages instead or even like rock moves has low accuracy against flying types but are still super effective for about 1.5 times the damage...
You know what that's a great question. You're right the whole "well Rock beats Scissors!" because Fire burns Grass! is kind of played out. I've always been a fan of deep thinking and logic, but it's definitely a hard task to create a new combat system. Your stat change idea is intriguing. Make the actual interactions a bit different. I think creating advantages/disadvantages based on the size/speed/mobility of the different creatues is under utilized too. Most of them kind of stand there and just fight straight up. Palworld has a few with instant dashes/teleports etc, but it would cool to utilize mobility more. Thanks for your input! You've got me thinking now
cant wait to play this but it says i need a gpu so waiting for my gpu to arrive
and like its 30 bucks even if we use the extremely common 1 dollar per fun hour of gameplay metric the game more than meets this quota
Yeah if you're a fan of the genre at all it will be a worthwhile purchase!
