Everyone is mad but they don’t realize that these rankings are Not based on last years team it’s based on everyone’s stats including the players who just transferred in… and if you go look at Colorado transfers on offense they have 2, 1000 yard receivers… a wr who lead who lead his team in receiving yards with 700+ yards in the SEC…they have 1000 yard rusher who jus transferred in at running back…nobody who started on the o line last year will be starting this year…people jus don’t understand they think they based the rankings on how teams did last year😭

NC STATE should def have a top 25 defense..
Personally, I think it is a little crazy that the UT Vols were left off the offensive list and off of the toughest places to play list. UT is stacked at WR and at HB, and Nico is straight baller at QB. Our defense got the job done last season but was spotty from time to time which is why I understand them not being on the defensive list but we also secured some pretty decent defensive recruits this offseason. And I genuinely cannot think of many tougher places to play than at Rocky Top. Almost every home game is almost, if not completely, sold out and the stadium environment is absolutely insane.
As a UT Vol fan, I kinda just feel like the Vols got the short end of the stick on some of these ratings... But maybe its just my bias... Idk...

Colorado is only ranked on Defense because they have sammy sacks from Pitt BJ Green, Quency Wiggins from LSU and The Block Bully Chidozie Nwankwo from Houston are also there. That front could be really nasty

They specifically showed on-screen that ratings weren't final & subject to change

@@zakscott3701 alot of key talent returning, your backs, 2 good receivers in morris and Morgan, te Loveland, a qb that can hurt you with his legs , mason graham and grant up front along with the cb in cf. they said the same thing in 21and 22 and we ended up with a top 3 defense each year

Whoever did these ratings should be fired. You have Colorado. Who went 4-8 in probably the 4th worst power 5 conference last year. Finished what dead last is rushing. The only thing they did well at is throwing the ball. And their defense was just as bad.
Then you look at USC. How is their defense ranked above their offense.. they were historical bad last year on defense. They couldn't stop anybody. The offense is what kept them in games.
It makes zero sense. Idk of they are protecting or whatever. It's just bad. And if they are this clueless when it cones to ratings, it's a concern.
There's a bunch of just poorly made rankings. But those are the 2 that stand out

Ratings are based on projections for the CURRENT season lol, not last season. Colorado added a lot of talent, Michigan lost a lot of key starters.

@@huskerdee1431 you can call it whatever you like, but elite QB, elite WR, and an improved Oline makes plenty of sense. Especially the QB position. It makes a massive difference.
@@bigticket5755stop the foolery, if on offense they were somewhere between 20-25 we wouldn’t critique it too much but if u think Colorado offense would be equally productive vs Georgia defense for example as Ohio st would be this year then the only explanation for that thinking is clinical insanity.
@@_Shaquille_based on Ohio States quarterback play (and most notably the lack thereof) we have NO IDEA how they would do against Georgias defense.
While Ohio State has lots of talent, QB play is critical to a teams success. We have no idea how Ohio States QB room looks. And it wasn’t good at all last year.
So no…it’s not criminal. It’s an understanding that an unproven QB can leave an offense with talent to have question marks. This is exactly why Oklahoma and USC, 2 traditionally good offenses, are also rated low.
