As usual, you are my favorite and most relatable influencer. I was so touched by this and feel your heart. As a woman who lived with abuse my entire childhood until I left home at age 15, it has been my mission to fight for those who can not and be a voice for those without words. Thank you for being brave and acting out of compassion. Lastly, yes, I'm 46 and seem to have many younger women as associates. Soooooo sorry about the pool experience! How “powerful” it was tho for you to have been there to intervene. Praying that the couple, especially the abused woman, is on her (their) way to “recovery.” Maybe she connected with someone on her trip enough where there’s some follow up to see if she’s “safe.” My Lord! If the guy was comfortable enough in public to display his abuse, one can only imagine what this woman is suffering thru behind closed doors. Whew! 😔

The fur baby was eating what I cook fur poodles each day they don’t eat rice everyday maybe twice a month but I will roast a chicken, Turkey breast, with veggies yep spoil once my kids was out the house so I filled the space by finding something to nurture so dogs it is 😂😂

I look forward to your vlogs. But, the part about the abuse was triggering for me as well. I witnessed my mom be abused at the hands of my stepfather many, many years ago and it still does something to me. My mom barely made it out of that relationship alive, but she made it. Thank God I’ve never gone through anything like that. Thank you for advocating for that woman! ❤️

Same! I am married but still have many many folks that I am in orbit with that are younger than I am and not married. I am in my early forties and most of my peoples are 10 years or so younger than I am. Age is a construct. Vibes are eternal lol Your vibe truly does attract your tribe and age rarely matters.

When you say things like "Girl, the car was dirty!" and you give it that pause, I laugh out loud. You brighten my day. Also on this vlog the trigger story you told was very sincere and moving. I'm sorry you experienced that. I was a tad triggered because I didn't want to hear you intervened. So many times here in New York, those trying to help often becomes victims themselves. The world sadly has gone mad it seems, so much rage and craziness. Enjoy your time with your family and thank you again.

I loved that you stood up for that woman.. it's usually always women putting ourselves in harm's way to help rescue a woman in an abusive situation because usually males will not, unless shamed into it. Turning 40 next month. I usually have older friends. I'm the youngest (all siblings are 5-11 years older). Having older siblings has always made me more comfortable with older friends.

I so appreciated the outro too. I am going through a divorce and I know what it is like. Although my husband wasnt one to make a scene, he certainly would tell me that I was too fat to sit by a pool and how embarrassed he was to be out with a fat woman. It has taken me yeara to build up my self esteem and work on myself. Folks’ insults and cruelty says more about them that their targets. You are amazing and I thank you for always inspiring us!

An ugly situation for the one being abused, as well as the ones who have been abused and are watching. What to do in that situation is always a concern and question. It’s obvious to stop the situation from escalating, and to diffuse it if possible. However, that part of me that has been abused knows that chances are that there will be an abusive moment price to pay later if the abused stays in that situation. And, that, too, is scary.
