    @Real - Can you use the Cabrinha trimlite bar with the XR7? May have to do the high Y conversion in the lines? The only thing preventing me from getting the XR7 is if I need a Core control bar also.... otherwise I'll stick with the switchy.

      I hear you thats what is stopping me too the center lines get twisted because of the trimer bungee cord

    Nice review! Just how big is the wind range? Can a 8, 10, 13.5 quiver work or is the gap between 10 and 13.5 too big?

      I had 8, 10 and 13.5 in xr6 worked perfectly

    How does it perform in freestyle/unhooked?

  • @vikingh3008

    No we are not excited about seeing colour, we want core to stay black and white

    @Real - how does the XR fly with a non Y-line bar? Like the slingshot sentry bar or similar?

    • @REALmattnuzzo
      @REALmattnuzzo 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With the low Y the XR7 has more bar pressure and a little slower turning. Still works great though.

    Soo do we have color then?

    • @REALmattnuzzo
      @REALmattnuzzo 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Little color hit on the wing tips is what we got with the XR7. They are sticking with black and white and they look fresh.

    XR6 is one of the best kites I've flown in 12 years of riding. Looking forward to experience what else they did to this masterpiece.

      I love my xr6 quiver, by far the best kite I have ever tried, but can’t wait to receive my xr7’s end this week 🤙

      @Azza I have only tried the 9m and 13.5m so far, only about 2 sessions on each as the wind been terrible, haven’t tried my 7m and 11m yet,
      First impression of the 13.5m, less spongy bar feeling and a bit more reactive,
      The 9m love it, really direct feeling, no sponginess, loops better, my friend who’s been out more on his, is saying: he recon the 9m xr7 catches him as well when looping as the 8m xr6

    Hey Matt, pick one 12m desert island kite. Cost no object, you have to choose. aluula flite or xr7 for all around riding.

    • @REALmattnuzzo
      @REALmattnuzzo 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ha ha. Putting my back against the wall! Love it. I would go XR7 because I know it lasts and I have ridden it a ton. The Aluula Flite is lighter and more nimble. The demos we have have been holding up well, but we have only used it for a year whereas with Core kites, we have 10 years of smashing them to know they hold up the best of any brand.

    Bar pressure vs xr6?

    • @REALmattnuzzo
      @REALmattnuzzo 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question. Similar bar pressure but different bar feel. The XR7 has a more direct input feel compared to the XR6. They took the sponginess out of the bar feel with the 7.

    The comment at: 1:31 - we've been testing them for a month and teaching lesson with them :) Matt .. get your lingo straight bro :D How the f** you teaching on them before they even been released ? I know you folks are a big Core sellers but don't think the brand will let you test the kite that hasn't been released with your students :))) Love your reviews nonetheless. Keep them coming. Much love from Toronto.

      Thanks for the comments. Core has been good to us and got us a test set of the XR7 early so we could get a lot of time on the water with them before we did our review. The content and what we have to say about this kite came from the feedback of ten of our coaches and staff that put in some hours on this kite. We have been loving it and stoked with how well the XR7 performs.

      @@REALmattnuzzo - thanks for taking the time to reply back Chief. I was kinda shocked to hear that you folks letting your students use a gear ( that hasn't been released yet ) openly across the school. So how do you prevent exposing the product before the product hits the market ?

    • @REALmattnuzzo
      @REALmattnuzzo 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tuncherferad6128 Yeah we very much protect the prototypes when they are not released. We will ride from non crowded locations and will only teach on them when we are launching from an alternate locations. Prototype gear is never put into the rental shop or left out to see in the yard. We also ask for our student's permission and let them know not to publicize the product shots we get them before it is released.
