Reset Palo Alto Firewall to Factory Default [2024]

In this video you'll learn how to reset a Palo Alto Firewall to factory default. In order to access the CLI, we will be connecting to the firewall using SSH.

What cable do you used for management console

I prefer using normal micro usb cable, but you can also use RJ45, if you want.

Nice video, i have currently situations where due to constant power outages, firewalls go into maintenance mode, is there a way from the maint mode, restore the configurations remotely?

Good question. Can you access the firewall using ssh? If yes, I think you can restore the configuration this way.

@@netsums google-drive-web works well for me, but please test it with the kakaotalk-transfer I mentioned.
