Hi David, what a beautiful location and video you got here. Hope to go back again in the Fall. I am heading there in two days and wondering if I can manage the Fitz Roy picture with waterfalls in the foreground with Manfrotto PIXI EVO Mini Tripod. I mean if there are elevated rocks where I can put the tripod to get a good composition. I plan to do the entire hike and want to avoid carrying a full-sized tripod.
Thank you! I have not published the photos to a book as I don't really consider my work good enough for that. But I very much appreciate the kind compliment that your question implies!
@@DavidSkok1 Thanks for reply! I think you should! I would buy it ! I am artist, cant travel all the places, but need a lot of reference for my art works. You could check it out my web: www.maqingxiong.com
I only have the one data point - which was when we visited in the Fall (April timeframe) which was really beautiful for photography because of the fall colors. But I hear it is still very beautiful in the summer (which is in winter for the US, and Europe). I highly recommend the trip!
so now your videos are causing me to rethink my entire trip. lol. 🤦 should I try what you did and stick with the Argentina side?? 🤔 or remain with my initial plan of Chilean side.. OR consider making it a big trip and do both Chile and Argentina.. decisions decisions. why may I ask did you choose Argentina, and not Chile? or consider both?
Stunning landscapes!
Stunning🎉🎉❤❤
Love your Patagonia videos, the editing is really good
Thanks Tania! Have you been? If not, I hope you have a chance to visit. It is an incredibly beautiful part of the world.
The trees look incredible
O vídeo mais lindo que vi sobre a Patagônia foi o de vocês!
Thank you! Patagonia is amazingly beautiful!
Hi David. I really loved your videos. I'm anxious to see the rest of the trip. Amazing. Thank you

Have fun! Unfortunately I expect you’ll need a full height tripod.
Amazing video and amazing colors! Congratulations! When did you visit El Chalten?
Thanks Guilherme. We were there in April 2018. Great time to visit to get the fall colors. If you haven't been, I highly recommend it.
What kind of trees are those with the beautiful orange foliage?
I wish I knew the answer, but sadly I don't. Sorry!
Lenga beech (Nothofagus Pumilio) and Ñire (Nothofagus antarctica). "Ñ"=⟨ng⟩.
Great video. May I ask what dates you were there in April?
same
We were there around the 20th of April. Great fall colors!
Beautiful! Do you have published all the photos to a book? Thanks

¡Great video, David! ¿Where are the waterfalls of time 0.20 seconds,¿ is the famous hidden waterfall of km 5 passing?
I don't know if it is the famous hidden waterfall, but this is about a 10 minute walk from Camp Laguna Capri.
hello, excellent video, very relaxing,
you could do an interview with max rive.
Thanks Esteban!

Scenery is mind-blowing indeed, very well done; when is the best time (month) to visit this place ?

We went to both. Both are great, but I loved the Argentinian side more.
@@DavidSkok1 ah for some reason I got the impression you only went to the Argentina side.. sweet .. try for both it is.
