    Hi David, what a beautiful location and video you got here. Hope to go back again in the Fall. I am heading there in two days and wondering if I can manage the Fitz Roy picture with waterfalls in the foreground with Manfrotto PIXI EVO Mini Tripod. I mean if there are elevated rocks where I can put the tripod to get a good composition. I plan to do the entire hike and want to avoid carrying a full-sized tripod.

      Have fun! Unfortunately I expect you’ll need a full height tripod.

      Thanks Guilherme. We were there in April 2018. Great time to visit to get the fall colors. If you haven't been, I highly recommend it.

    What kind of trees are those with the beautiful orange foliage?

      I wish I knew the answer, but sadly I don't. Sorry!

    Beautiful! Do you have published all the photos to a book? Thanks

    • @DavidSkok1

      Thank you! I have not published the photos to a book as I don't really consider my work good enough for that. But I very much appreciate the kind compliment that your question implies!

    ¡Great video, David! ¿Where are the waterfalls of time 0.20 seconds,¿ is the famous hidden waterfall of km 5 passing?

    • @DavidSkok1
      @DavidSkok1  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know if it is the famous hidden waterfall, but this is about a 10 minute walk from Camp Laguna Capri.

    Scenery is mind-blowing indeed, very well done; when is the best time (month) to visit this place ?

    • @DavidSkok1
      @DavidSkok1  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I only have the one data point - which was when we visited in the Fall (April timeframe) which was really beautiful for photography because of the fall colors. But I hear it is still very beautiful in the summer (which is in winter for the US, and Europe). I highly recommend the trip!

    so now your videos are causing me to rethink my entire trip. lol. 🤦 should I try what you did and stick with the Argentina side?? 🤔 or remain with my initial plan of Chilean side.. OR consider making it a big trip and do both Chile and Argentina.. decisions decisions. why may I ask did you choose Argentina, and not Chile? or consider both?

    • @DavidSkok1
      @DavidSkok1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We went to both. Both are great, but I loved the Argentinian side more.

    • @saopaulosoul8714

      @@DavidSkok1 ah for some reason I got the impression you only went to the Argentina side.. sweet .. try for both it is.
