I tried replacing the battery in my 2012 Nissan Versa, and I needed an extender AND a special hexagonal screwdriver. I had a taillight go out, which I changed no problem on my 97 Neon, but you practically had to take the rear end apart on the Versa! I had an Acura Legend that we replaced the fuel pump on ourselves, and it was in the tank. When it went out again, and I took it to a mechanic, they said it would take 2 weeks because they had to remove the fuel tank. I was all, "No you don't, I did it without removing the tank. You're just trying to milk me on labor." Used to be you could buy those books at the auto parts store to look up how to fix everything yourself. Nowadays cars are stupid overly complicated.
