We played this over 10 years ago in high school. And Im suddenly so glad my stand partner was such a goofball. If it wasnt his constant joking saying things like "Hehe time to get messy in G" might have forgotten the name of this wonderful piece. My first and last experience of mass was so amazing. Every song was amazing and unforgettable ❤

This version of Schuberts Mass in G is done with great splendour, a delicate and harmonious choirtone, and a perfect direction of the ensemble all together. I find the Credo extremely beautiful in the the most delicate balance of the four voices.The soloists are clever singers, and the trio in Benedictus is done with great beauty and a perfect balance of their strong voices.

Wonderful that such fine music giving the essence of the Christian message can now be sung in public in Armenia. Such classics are also part of the cultural education for any one, world wide. La mia Messa preferita di Schubert è la n. 6 D950, ed in particolare il "Et incarnatus est": pelle d'oca e brividi è lacrime assicurate... I actually sang Bogorodiste Devo on the 23rd as well, how weird. Our choir also performed it perfectly. Being a bass I loved the song, and we are going to perform it again in the Spring.
I sang in a choir that performed this many years ago. At that time there was only one recording of it available. The conductor had our performance recorded and later played both for us as a comparison. I'm happy to say that our chorus of amateurs did a much better job than the professionals on that recording. However we were not as good as these. But it was a long time ago :-)
We performed this mass last week-end (Neighborhood Church, Palos Verdes, CA). It is wonderfully beautiful, and this Armenian National Chamber Chorus is the best version on TH-cam. The tempo is slower that ours, especially in the Credo, but still perfectly sung and played. Well done!

What a nice soprano and orchestra! I played that piece many, many times. But this was an exception. This was just joy, full of joy, and my eyes decided to cry. What was Schubert a guy? I'd really liked to get him knowing. Just when he composed this unique mass. So simple... does anybody have feelings like that? Or have the bass line?

J'ai particulièrement apprécié la limpidité de la voix de la soprano et la justesses de ses attaques dans les aigus alors que dans certaines autres interprétations, même professionnelles, j'ai été déçu par des glissades désagréables, surtout le la aigu de l'agnus dei. Ici, quelle émotion ! Merci.

This is a most able and lovely performance of Scubert's beautiful mass in G-major. Particularly the soprano soloist is wonderful to listen to.
