Even so called professional auto-reviewers and experts keep on harping that in ' under-powered ' vehicle overtakes must be planned. As if overtakes otherwise should be unplanned! Regardless of power and acceleration capability of any vehicle, every overtake must be planned , according to the nature of the road, traffic and as per traffic rules. In developed countries and where traffic rules are enforced, drivers cannot simply overtake others as they please . They have to observe strict road rules and speed limits while doing so. So if the front vehicle is at speed limit, one cannot simply exceed speed limits to overtake it. Then there is signage to be followed and designated lane markings where overtaking is to be done , In certain roads overtaking is simply prohibited. Wonder when , if ever , that kind of traffic discipline will come to India.

Whatever you are talking about pulling from standstill or low speeds is torque... Overtaking part is mainly about power of the vehicle. Torque also comes into picture at that time but more powerful petrol engines will be at high RPMs.. torque in the mid range to pull when Turbo is present

This Hybrid version gives mileage of around 25kmpl on highway and somewhat same in city as well, as it uses combo of battery and IC engine. I'm sure the more you drive this more your mind muscles will get trained to use acceleration paddle accordingly. Many Car TH-camrs have tested this Hybrid version on road and taken out mileage of around 25kmpl. All d best
@@shyampdyt - Ya you right... I thought he got a Strong Hybrid version. But with Strong Hybrid AWD not available. So the one he hs bought is Mild Hybrid with AWD. Its same maruti's K15 engine I guess. I had that in my Ciaz. Highway mileage with light foot driving was 22-23kmpl. City drive 17kmpl.

My personal opinion: 1.Grand vitara looks better to me than Hyrider 2. All grip system(All wheel drive system for which i have bought this car) is manufactured by Suzuki and if something goes wrong then Suzuki workshop will be better equipped to handle its repair.
What is your review on the sunroof blind before getting the tent installation? Since it is a mesh type blind, did you feel that too much sunlight is coming in the cabin. Many people have given reviews that the quality of blind is very cheap and will make the cabin hotter.
The sun roof blind is very thin sir, but I did not get the chance to experience a lot of sunroof performance as on the day of delivery there were clouds in delhi and then I got the tent fitted. Next summer during Intense heat this might be an issue, but aftermarket solution aa hee jayega kuch, maybe a darker Fabric will be available before next summer in delhi 😁
No we have not setup tent on alcazar sir, the reason is that roof rails on alcazar are not active, it clearly is written on them that load should not be put on the rails.

Boot space is decent, rear seat also ok for 3 people, just that people close to 6Ft in height will be facing headroom issue

Did not try snow mode, did not try AWD in mountains as there were no slippery roads, but general performance was good in hills
