Man I just realized that allgood was the first time I had been and the last time the biscuits played there..... Just wasn't the same after. I wasn't the same after seeing them lol
The inspiration meter is real, my friend! It really does account for why so few amount of back-to-back shows are barn burners. Mickey Hart told Neil Peart that the Dead's heat would occur every 4 shows. It took them 3 off-nights for their meter to fully recover! For every 12/26/09, there's going to then be a 12/27/09. For every 04/17/09 there's going to be a 04/18/09! There are plenty of exceptions though, obv. The stars really have to align though!
@@BootsORiley also doesn't help I joined up right in 2010 right after the 3 year run ended. There also was all the personal stuff with barber that I imagine would make it hard to be excited to play music. Who cares about the lean years cause since 2016 theyve been building to where we are with that high Sierra fire
@@raysravens52 i need to listen to the rest of the NYE run from 2015, but from what i've heard, 12/31/15 is solid!! and 01/02/16 II - which under typical circumstances would've still been a '15 show) was absolutely incredible! i took a hiatus after 02/21/15 that lasted until 02/06/16 and never really did go back and listen to most of what i missed, except for 04/17/15, a couple of NYE shows, and an odd 2015 that Roy or Ryan might stream randomly now and then. I aim to very soon, though. I'd like to be able to say that their triumphant return actually goes back to 2015! Right now, i can't say that with confidence though.
