loved the video! one thing--i LOVE the ELF lip exfoliator! The sugar scrub really helps to get rid of dead skin, so I think it's great that it's kind of abrasive. It's supposed to be!
I LOVE the lip exfoliate!! I moisten my lips first, use the product, and then apply chap stick after! Winter is usually brutal on my lips, and I used to get chapped lips so bad they would crack and bleed. I've not had chapped lips once this winter!
So I started buying ELF after I saw them compare the ELF primer with a name brand primer and now I own lots of different products from them. I really love the face primer my makeup looks flawless for hours!
I think depotting the lip exfoliator would help. Then just use it with your fingers like most exfoliators. The lipstick tub idea just seems so flawed..
The other thing about the ELF Daily Brush Cleaner is that it smells EXACTLY like DKNY Be Delicious. Seriously, they smell the same. I've actually worn the brush cleaner as a perfume a couple times, no joke. Yes, I know that's weird....

I started slightly baking with the HD Translucent powder and it was life-changing!
I just bought the face mist today to set the makeup... LOVE. I have literally used it once and I'm completely obsessed. It kept my makeup fresh all day. Also, I know you said you had brushes, but another elf product I just purchased was the small stipple brush. It has a white top and it's smaller than a regular foundation brush, it's also round, but it works SO well to pack on foundation in trouble areas without making it look like you have a side of face with your makeup. It looks so natural and just covers it all up. Amaze.

Tip for the lip exfoliator: you can make a DIY scrub with olive oil and a small amount of brown sugar since the ELF exfoliator still is grainy and just dip the stick in the mix and the ELF exfoliator will still be moisturizing and shrubs your lips.

I loved the lip scrub until I tasted it. I knew it was too sweet to be real sugar. Sure enough it contains aspartame, with medical issues I don't ingest any. So I gave it to my mom. She loves it!

Warm bronzer..love it!! Also really like the mineral infused face primer and the mineral infused mascara. And I agree about the gel liner, not great.
Hmmm ... I haven't had that issue with my lip exfoliator. But I love how rough it is too though, I have drier lips than most. Who knows. I only find that it gunks up a bit occasionally, so I rub off the gunk and it's all better.

Hi gorgeous! Their studio brushes are great too. I use powder brush and c eyeshadow brush most of the time. The liquid eyeliner works well too.

I have the setting spray and sometimes it shoots out the product completely wetting my face lol so be careful when setting your makeup with it!
Try spraying it on a paper towel to make sure it actually mists instead of shoots like a water gun.
I LOVE the liquid eyeliner! I'm a total newbie to liquid eyeliner and it is very easy to use and wipe off if you make a mistake but it lasts ALL day!! and the eye shadows are amazing but you know that :D
Definitely definitely try any of their brushes that you can get your paws on!! I also love.... And I truly mean love-their color correcting powder palette, it's a bit more powdery than some, however with a moisturizer or primer-it's as beautiful as Chanel! Don't use on plain dry non moisturized skin ladies! Thank you for All your tips, I use to use ONLY CHANNEL/LANCOMBE/CLINIQUE but after seeing "it's only one dollar, what's to lose" I'm in total shock!! I get cystic acne with too oily products and ELF IS PERFECT FOR CYSTIC ACNE, THANKS AGAIN LOVE

Ohh great reviews! I am so going to get the eyebrow filler & highlighter. I actually like there gel eye liner. But I did find that you need the right brush. I use the small angle brush. I really like the volumizing lengthening mascara & the lip stain which I use as a base for my lips . When my lip gloss or stick wears off I still have color from the stain.

I always think it's so cool to see the same product on different skin tones. For example, the elf blush/contour. I have olive/medium skin and the contour shade, while kind of orangey, is a perfect contour color for me, while the blush is too light (more like a pinky-highlight/small flush of color). Not that I wear blush usually, I turn red naturally at the slightest of things, so if I do wear blush I end up looking like I spilled the palette on my face. I love your vids, got addicted to the unboxing. Also: You're the EXACT COPY of my last math teacher, except maybe she's younger (22) & you're both so alike and so pretty.

I love the clear mascara!!! I use it everyday and have gone through like 5, I noticed it is really wet wet if you wipe the side of the wand against the side of the tube as you pull the wand out it really helps!
ELF's brow powder and gel duos are INCREDIBLE.
i love the elf lip exfoliator , once it starts to ware out all u have to do is scratch it with ur nail and its back to normal
I use a lot of e.l.f. products also but my favorite has to be the bronzer pressed powder! Looooove it!
This was really informative, very interesting......so far I only have one Elf product that I bought today and it's a "all over stick" (but it's really just for your lips and cheeks) and I used it as a blush and it's really pretty, very nice shade (it's in Pink Lemonade) it's almost like a pink shimmy nude color on the lips and is a nice, light pink blush. Really beautiful. And it's a $1!!! Also, you remind me of Christy Romano!! Haha.....btw I absoloutely LOVE the idea of the eyeshadow primer and eyeliner, it's amazing because I LOVE different color eyesliners sooooo much so it's amazing to be able to use whatever color I want from my own eyeshadows without having to purchase another eyeliner!!
Their face primer in the corrective green is amazing

I haven't tried every product from elf but I would say that I love most of their products. I hate the liquid eyeliner though but the elf blush and contouring powder is definitely a must-have! Thumbs up'd this video :)
Just tonight I bought the ELF eye primer and liner seal - I am looking forward to using it. I have the lip exfoliator and agree with you. It is sugar so I lick it a little to melt the sugar, or I open it all the way to scavenge some of the moisture from the lower stick. What else can I do. I still like the convenience of it on my night stand.

I LOVE the Elf Tone Correcting Powder palette, especially the green tint. I just discovered their website the other day and now I'm waiting on my package. However, stay far, far away from the lip stain. It is essentially a crayola marker. It's scratchy and doesn't stain your lips for longer than a few hours.
Elf's Studio 22 Piece On the Go Palette is good. Everything-including mascara & brushes is right there for you and they packaged it as its own little clutch. The only drawback is if you carry a large purse like I do & toss the palette in alone, the mirror will break. I get some fall out with my favorite blush shade in the kit as well. Try the Mineral Face Primer. It has a pump, which I REALLY like. It feels really wet when you first put it on, but work it in to your skin a bit and it's fine. If you start with the primer & then use the setting spray, makeup won't move.
I have the same blush and I'm in love with it! I recently got the New $6 contour and it works great.
lol im a little late but i am absolutley in LOVE with the elf mineral infused mascara. It gives your lashes sooo much volume and im obsessed with it lol.

I actually love the lip exfoliater but I totally agree with what you are saying. I put Chapstick on and then use it over the Chapstick. That helps to buffer and move it around.
Never,I repeat never, do not buy the elf liquid eyeliner. It doesn't dry well. It rubs off. It's terrible. The brush is too thick.
Personally I really love the elf liquid eyeliner. I got it this past Christmas and the first time I tried it, I didn't like it because I compared it to much to my other liquid eye liner which I loved. I decided to give the elf one another shot and honestly I ended up loving it. I paid $1 for it compared to my other one that was $9. It's really great for the price. Especially knowing it is way more pigmented than the $9 one.

Really? Maybe you just bought a bad one. Mine dries so fast, it stays on very well, and the brush is a perfect size! It's my go-to eyeliner.

Have you tried the elf lip stain? I love the pink petal. This stuff stays on all day, no touch-ups after lunch. Also it doesn't dry your lips! Can't believe the staying power on it. I have paid so much more and never got a product like this.

I also adore their mineral infused face primers if you have not tried them yet. I tried the transparent one and the pinkish color which gives a glow underneath foundation. They hide pores and fine lines and are not greasy. There is also a lavender brightening one. I do like the pink one better out of the two that I tried.

I have the zit zapper and I thought it worked good you know but it on 2-3 times before you go to sleep and I heard great reviews on it then I started to break out where I put it so on my chin and forehead a little bit
Their brushes work great and I own a red lip stick that I got at the dollar tree and for a dollar it works wonderful doesn't dry out my lips or nothing

I bought three of the gel liners, black, teal and purple. The black for me is the best thing ever! The purple and blue were dried right out. I put a drop of hair oil in, and I use them as eye shadow bases

Just bought my first elf products, got the nude colored lip gloss and the liquid eyeliner. So far im super impressed! Im used to shopping at Sephora and the prices are just ridiculous. Elf is so affordable, and really has some great products!
Thank you, is nice to see someone doing tutorials on economically reasonable makes....I mean, getting stuff from ulta or dept stores is a treat, not for everyday, it's good to know the dupes at an affordable price, and which ones are usable! :-) You also get the point across very well, and I'm also very fair with medium brown hair so your choices are similar to mine, im subscribed! :-)
