I wish his pickaxe were his claws. I know there smaller than the wolverine ones but it would make sense as its vibranium and can cut through anything just like wolverines adamantium claws. If you notice. His pickaxe is actually killmongers swords from the black panther movie. And it doesnt look right
He uses vibranium swords in the comics a lot tho sometimes there kinetic charged should’ve been a stlye

Task master has been my favorite marvel character for more than 5 years now

He has the best name in the entirety of the comics, tony masters.
Sucks though because Emporor Doctor Doom looked too much like task master not to have a preset in my locker. Really wish another character was added instead of him. Hawkeye would have made a fine skin.
For the guy whos gonna tell me "but hawkeye is royalty so they didn't put him" then they had other options such as black bolt, who is much more of a king then taskmaster or even Captain Marvel.
As a comics fan I love taskmaster the most. One of my favorite villains and when we got collaboration hunter skins I wanted taskmaster to join the hunt.

Imo I think Fortnite X Marvel was the biggest one they did. Marvel is the biggest, if not one of the biggest companies in the world and because they collaborated with another huge company, I think it was the icing on the cake that Fortnite needed.

Personally I really like this pack, all the skins are really well designed and extremely well executed and I don't want to show any disrespect to the extremely talented developers that designed the skins to make them fit for fortnite, however, I don't think this should have been a real money pack, in my opnion it should have been a bundle for vbucks in the item shop and then have all of the items to buy separately, 25 dollars imo is just too expensive. Great idea, great execution, badly sold.
That would have been a great thing to do. And if Epic did do that I would honestly just get the Black panther set (Skin, pickaxes, glider and backbling).

Tbh $25 for 3 nearly complete sets of skins is a fine price. That being said, I definitely would've bought Taskmaster on his own.

To be honest the glider is what saved the Captain Marvel skin for me. Although I would've also loved a Ms. Marvel edit style and a Masked version for her Captain Marvel style, I'm fine with the Binary(Empowered) version because it shows Epic knows their Marvel.
I bought this pack because I thought the captain marvel glider worked on every skin, the disappointment is immeasurable
I have been waiting for you to review this. I am most likely going to buy this even though I usually do not buy packs.

The black panther skin is like two In one, with his backbling on he is the comic book style. But no back bling would be the movie style.

Taskmaster isn’t really a villain. He’s more of an anti-hero. They put him in the pack because he is a bounty hunter which fits with the theme of the season.

If you don’t like the cape for the black panther skin, and you played in chapter 2 season 3 you could use the infinite bloom back bling as the heart shaped flower from the movies. But you could use anything else if you prefer it
Pro tip, you can set the battle lab to night and you can also use the new player reference device in creative and size is up a bunch to get a good look at the skin.

People keep hating on the marvel skins for not looking like the movie characters. The skins are based on the comic books, not the movies. You saw what they did with Aquaman, you know they could make them look like the movies if they wanted to.
Yea people definitely prefer movie Aquaman. But the Marvel Comic versions of the Marvel characters are the best versions. Except Star Lord, but he got the movie version sooooo
I think comic book versions fit the game better

@TaborHill You should definitely try reviewing emotes/skins in replay mode. You can make all possible moves in a match(i.e Moving around, jumping, talking damage, eliminating etc.. then you should check out the replay so you can see how the skin looks from the front too.(maybe a few skins are reactive from the front).

I actually enjoy the taskmaster skin as he is an awesome villain. Too sad most people are only familiar with the movies and only like black panther because his movie was the better one. I think they did a great job on the skin and taskmaster is simple like he should be. The extra styles are cool and the new gliders as well.

If you watch carefully, when he got the pickaxe kill and stopped swinging, there were blue sparks. It is reactive to pickaxe kills. The sparks don't appear at other times like when farming.

Captain Marvels pickaxe is NOT reactive at night, That is why it was NOT working
It’s always reactive no matter what time of day it’s probs a bug
For Taskmaster, you could use The Milano glider (Star Lord's glider), it matches so perfectly and good to him as if it was made for him and not Star Lord.
I agree with you on Black Panthers cape, it's just too big and in the way. I don't understand why he had a cape in comics. He's a fast and agile character, you think the cape would just get in the way.

I don’t understand the hate for this pack’s price. At the end of the day, you get three skins with so many good additional cosmetics to run in-game, and as a Black Panther fan myself I say it’s well worth 25 dollars. They could’ve added more stuff like Tabor said but I give it a 9/10 for being awesome

Hi Tabor Hill, big fan here! For Black Panther's glider, if you looked up at it, and looked at the bottom of it, you'll see that there's a mask on it. This is actually from the movies, when people look up at ship, they see an African mask. This is also a way they show they're pride. I'm surprised no one said anything about it

Another Fortnite youtuber said in a video that they're not allowed to use their own code to buy things in the shop, so i guess I've just always thought when he has his code in there it's just for show and he never actually buys anything using it? (he does get gifted a lot in his item shop reviews instead of buying right) Then when he does use his code to buy things he's on a different account? So maybe he must have bought this pack on his main account and couldn't use his own code?
