I’m thinking about finally selling, but only isolating it to the US. Do you have to add extra money or shipping details if you sell out of the country? Thanks for the vid btw. Ps- I also want to avoid any hassle.
In general, I think the average Discogs seller is more detailed and more careful than the average record seller would be on eBay however, the point is well taken. As with virtually purchases, do your research!
@@JiminyFlipIt How to properly grade records. I have turntable to play the records but I still don’t know if I am grading them correctly. I’ve heard that Discog buyers can be brutal. I’ve sold a few records on eBay so far and to play it safe, I just grade everything as VG even if the record has no scratches, no skips and no back ground noise (I.e. popping sounds).
Why do you do it the hard way search for the matrix number mate it will cut out a lot of them you have on that list. You need to check it anyway to make sure you have the right copy.
Thanks for watching. Check out around the 35 second mark of the video, I show a resource available that shows you how to set up a seller account. This video is about how to list records for sale on the platform.

My pleasure, thanks for watching! I also keep it to domestic shipping on Discogs.
@@JiminyFlipIt Awesome, yup, no hassle or shipping fee issues. Thanks again.
Most Discogs sellers list wrong the items, my big advice is, ask questions or request pictures before to buy!!! you can receive a lot wrong pressings!

Hello, thanks for the information. What happens if my record is rare and there is no photo on Discogs? Can I upload a photo?
My pleasure, thanks for watching! Yes, you are able to upload a photo, if needed. And scarcity is a good thing! Happy listing!
Yes. Please go into more detail, please.
Is there anything specific you would like to learn about?

what is the average price for shipping albums?
I use a flat rate of $3.50 and ship via USPS Media Mail. They usually weigh right around 1lb with the box and packaging.

I search using matrix numbers as well but wanted to show new users the "hard way" first. Thanks for watching!
You didn't show how to set up a sellers account at all.

@@JiminyFlipIt Thanks. I figured it out. Waiting on Discogs to send me the email to prove I'm a real person. Sometimes I do wonder myself.
Very good. I hope you enjoy Discogs. Let me know if there's anything I can help you with on the platform.
