Great video! I'm having that exact issue with my 2012 V6 coupe/manual. Will try to find a junkyard replacement. Part may be called "Audio Control Module".
Yeah i think so. I called it the brain lol. But yeah it will be like a control module. Just tell them is the box behind the radio and they will know what is the part u looking for.
2 options. #1- u can go to the dealership and they will.have the exact same part for ur car. (Will be pricey lol) #2- go to a junk yard and they will find one for ur car. It doesn't has to be pulled from a mustang. some other fords use same part. (Make sure they give u warranty on parts so u can exchange it if it doesn't work. ) Also when u pulled the part from.ur car, there has to be a sticker with part number on it.
Hey there! If u find the same car, the ID number could be the same. But u can use a different one. As long as it's from a Ford car. The guys at the junk yard can help u. Just make sure u can return the item if it doesn't work. Those parts are used, so some might have previous damage, such as the one u have. What could be different (as shown on video) is the brackets. But u can remove yours and intall it on the new unit. Also, before u go to junk yard, check all the fuses. Make sure they are good, especially the one for the radio. Passanger side fuse box.
@@larasgarage2021 goodness that a lot I don’t wanna pay a arm and a leg for help so you said check all my fuses ? Any way I can get in contact with you outside of this TH-cam ?
