      Well to the original comment, to be fair these are Basking Sharks which are not only 100% harmless to humans (hey couldn’t be if they tried because they aren’t even physically capable of swallowing you, their throats are too small), but actually kinda friendly.☺️
      To the second reply down from OP, funny enough Whale Sharks aren’t whales or sharks! XD

    Why is he using chop sticks to paddle his boat?

    • @deaganachomarunacathasaigh4344
      @deaganachomarunacathasaigh4344 4 ปีที่แล้ว +424

      They're oars😂. A traditional type of oar designed for the currach because the currach is designed to be used on open rough water and to be operated by 3 to 6 men at a time. Square oars are less likely to be dragged in by rough water so the boat is less likely to flip

      Deacon Casey there's no paddles at the end of those oars 😂 maybe he needed to go slow on purpose?

    • @vinokai
      @vinokai 4 ปีที่แล้ว +87

      Deacon Casey eeeeh still looks like two giant sticks, that thins out at the ends. But it doesn't seem to widen into a proper paddle (that I've seen) 😂 I mean, he got all the way out there, so he should be able to get back with the roughly made oars 🤣

    • @vinokai
      @vinokai 4 ปีที่แล้ว +23

      Deacon Casey I suppose so. Though at the very end there you can see the full length of the oars. Honestly the only paddles/oars I've seen are the ones in Walmart, Cabella's, and Pro Bass. 😂

    I just love this from 1:09 the last few seconds at the end. An image that was used to scare ppl in memes, but in real life, so tranquil. Everything is just right. Peace.

      They can grow over 10 meters in length - second-largest fish on Earth, currently. (Leedsicthys and C. megalodon were bigger, probably others, but they're extinct, so...)
