2 cymbals are chipped badly, he's gotten new cymbals though. Cymbals do that from a lot of use.

it's a cymbal, cymbals are like strings to guitars, just more expensive. Besides, they also sell cymbals with pieces taken out already for different sounds.

I’m usually the “I hate everyone” one, but since I got in jazz band and my teacher tells me to be softer and slower, I’m now the “why did I agree to this” one
I'm always the nervous one. I know how to play drums but when there's a music teacher and two other drummers hovering over me in class on my first time playing a song, I get all awkward and mess up a lot.

I'm the cymbal lover. I try to incorporate every cymbal on a kit in one song. Doesn't matter what song or what cymbal. Crazy Train doesn't feature a china cymbal, but guess what? If there's a china cymbal on the kit I'm using, I'm gonna use it.

0:45 You should be careful doing that on those stools. Especially if yours doesn’t have a metal sheet under the wood. There’s a video of a guy who goes to sit down with his guitar on one of those stools and the shaft goes straight through the seat and looked like it impaled him by at least an inch or so. It was a short clip that I saw so I’m not sure how it turned out, if he was fine with just some i need pain or if he was actually really injured by it. It’s incredibly painful to watch, and if you’ve ever sat on a seatbelt buckle then you know the kind of i need pain that can come from that. Having a stool’s shaft impale you through your taint or ass makes me cringe just thinking about it. I’m sure it’s pretty rare, but if I were you I would be a bit more careful and maybe make sure there’s something strong protecting your nether regions from unexpected attempted spit roasting by stool.
