Mega move is my favorite, and I absolutely love the episode that showed the vocals, which was a "feud of faxanadu." That whole race scene was amazing.
I desperately need a full version of Can You Feel The Heat? to surface one day.
Captain N was my favorite show as a kid who loved video games, and I always loved hearing these random songs in the episodes. Glad they were intact on the DVDs. Thanks for sharing. Just liked and subscribed!
It's because the songs weren't licensed like the ones in season 1 were.

Yeah, I guess they couldn't keep the covers of famous copyrighted songs from season 1 in there when the show was syndicated and released on DVD, as they were only licensed for play on NBC. But it's cool that they put original songs in the second season, even if they were parodies of famous songs, but since they were originals they didn't have to license or remove them.
Can You Feel The Heat goes so hard for no reason.

Also "Mega Move" is a Very loose parody of "Beat It"

I enjoyed the covers of Season 1, but the original season 2 songs SLAP. ❤
A lot of these songs were sound-alikes of more popular songs, "Dangerous Place" is very similar to "Danger Zone" for instance. Not all of them though. I'd say about half of them were completely original.
@@WillKeaton The first one is probably the most obvious (Monster Mash), but I think the rest are more style. The last one reminds me of Suicidal Tendencies, but not any one particular song.
I'm 90% sure "Frustrated" is a riff on "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction.”
I've always thought these were really catchy too. I find myself humming some of them while I'm out and about to this day lol.
What about “Wild, Wild Ride” in the Newsworld episode? That’s always been one of my favorites.

Where does “wild ride” come from? Does anyone know? I really, really like that song so much!
Why I am asking is because it never said in the end credits, and when I Google “wild ride,” I get a bunch of random titles, I listen to some, and NONE of them are the same song.
Is freak a remake of monster mash?
Yes, "Freak" is "Monster Mash." Most of these seem to be soundalikes of more well-known songs, where they would keep the same melody but add new lyrics, though there are some I can't identify so they may be original songs, like "Megamove."
