Maybe your engine was incredibly hot because you drive with the choke on for a little while and the stock radiator is pretty bad for cooling when you do that, there could be a problem with the fuel mixture in your carburettor, and the car didn't start or idle at all without the choke and that could have caused some complications.
I reinstalled the carb and a/f is usually 14.9 and never needed choke. But somehow the car keeps going on fire when i drive past the house. Reloaded the game half a dozen times. Stupid car 😂 might try order racing carbs when i ever get a job 😂 2 weeks with no phone calls at all 😡 might haveto start a new game.
I've just loaded up a savefile from before the blow up. The battery is in place and the radiator is full. So i dunno, maybe it was the gas can. The engine wasn't hot either :s

in my game this happend to me to but I had a fire extinguisher with me and after all of this was done i could not fix the car ever since

I had just intalled my racing carbs and my coolant oil and everything else was ok but at the exact same spot mine caught on fire too help?
Check all the bolts on the carbs. That was my issue.
