SHILL bidding is getting out of control as well on Feebay! Very disturbing what some are selling on there. Also been getting and hearing a lot of new blaster boxes are being resealed!!! The Boxes & the Packs both!!! but it's really hard to discover them and most will never even know. Was hoping you could do a video on that topic so millions of more people dont get scammed! But I do remember hanger boxes being returned to Walmart with junk wax cards inside them. Something I think Walmart fixed by NOT accepting returns of cards. Thnx!
@@Hungryman97sCollectibles Tbh I think they are being reshrink/heat wrapped and pack resealed before they even hit the shelves at the big retail Supermarkets or it's being done at the Supermarkets in their warehouse? Very very hard to detect most of the time!!! They'll throw some small hits in them so you don't think twice, but you'll definitely know because they don't come with any gems! Just get a bunch of Off-Centered cards or good players/cards with dinged corners, print lines, off-centered etc. It's getting pretty bad in Eastern side of the U.S. anyway. Averaging about 7 out of every 10 Boxes/Packs are being released in someway. Especially Panini Football & Basketball! Mainly Topps/Bowman for Baseball! Whoever is doing it is getting extremely good at opening them and resealing them but some are more obvious for sure! Thanks for taking a look 👍
I just saw a seller on eBay trying to sell a 1972 Topps Julius Erving RC for 150 bucks but it was most likely a fake. It looked artificially aged and the seller went as far as folding the card like 6 times. It had creases all over it but the thing that annoyed me the most about is right in the title it said AUTHENTIC? I also recently saw someone trying to sell a fake 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan as a "Reprint" but it was counterfeit because like you said in the video a reprint should have the word reprint on the back somewhere. The Jordan did not. I looked for listing a few days later and it looks like eBay removed it.
Yeah, those really irk me!! I belong to a few Facebook groups, and people will post a fake card and ask, "Is this card real or a reprint?" Someone will usually comment "neither. "

It affected my buying on EBAY because trying to find legit stuff was too difficult. I can't tell you how many times RP cards have been sold.
