Y'know while watching this I couldn't help but realize at how much those little details in the movie compared to the show make all the difference in the world. Like in the movie you kind of register that most of the characters have freckles and other defining facial features, like the scar on Hiccup's chin, while in the show those details are missing and you really have no clue why the characters look different unless you look REALLY closely.
Look closely at httyd2 all the signs are there, Astrid and Hiccup are an official couple, they never have an argument, Hiccup kisses Astrid in front of everyone at the end of the film, Hiccup is made chief of the island, and just before the credits we can see Astrid and Hiccup side by side which symbolises husband and wife so yes the wedding in httyd3 will happen.

Hiccup and astrid now are a official coupleee In the most dramatic moment hiccup will say to astrid i love u and he will kiss her and in the ending he will accept to be chief and he will ask astrid to marry himm to be his wifee
and it makes sense because stoick puts pressure on hiccup to make a family and all httyd official pages say that even stoick said to astrid "thats my future daughter in law" and hiccup accepts being a chief in the end so it's necessary almost mandatory for him to marry her
