When the water beads off the shoe it's not the goretex that's just water resistant treatment sprayed on the shoe. Goretex is the membrane built into the shoe, but if the tounge isn't gusseted water will get through the tounge and laces and wick into the shoe. Then the goretex membrane just turns the shoe into a bucket.

mine arrived today from nike with marks all over the toebox and the edges of the tongue. cleaned them as best i can but 50/50 on whether i should return them.

I prefer the infrared hue on the goretex more, its deeper and richer. Not quite as pale or washed out

I recently accidentally destroyed my old air max 😭 I’ve got a pair of Jordan 1s which I like to wear when going somewhere nice. But because my max broke I’ve been wearing them everyday and especially for changing after work they’re horrible for putting on, I’ve relented and had to buy a new pair of air max got to say I swear by them! Chose these as they may be pricy but look amazing!

Better than the previous release they are awful I still have the older pair from 2014 and the quality was night and day so I’m glad this is a more premium pair than the guff we got last time exited for these to arrive 👌🏼 great review by the way 👍🏼

This is a bit of a specific question, but is there a seam running up the inside of the heel, part of the gore-tex lining? I have the Undercover AF1 with gore-tex, and they have it, which make them very uncomfortable. Great review as always!
