Sold it in 97 and built a house. I missed it so bad i found a sweet 01 slightly used in 01 and i still have it. We ride the same mountain trails that we had back then all behind my house. Still riding at almost 58 semi retired trucker.
Another 50+ with a 700 Raptor, loving it! Much easier to load and unload to go have fun then dealing with a SXS. Utility quads have their place but sport quads are for fun.
Especially everywhere lol. I really don't get the appeal of them EXCEPT for taking the kids. That's the only reason I even considered getting one, luckily it was just a moment of weakness and I didn't actually get one.

I've been riding almost 20 years and started out on sport quads in the early 2000s and always liked them better. I have had a few 4 X 4s and it's just not the same...
Lots of variety in this video curtesy of flyin Brian! Right on guys good video, hopefully one day all of us highlighting them becomes worth it and gets a manufacturer other than Yamaha to come back 🤟 #savesportquads
I went out to a pit yesterday with a converted mini bike I've been messing around on and everyone had a sport ATV except my neighbor, but he can rip it and pop wheelies on the 650 like its nothing. I personally like the Smaller sport ATV and plan on getting one myself, thanks for the vid and information!
I picked up my new YFZ450r a couple weeks back. I have the body weight advantage like you guys to slider her through the corner... We will see how I like it compared to my Outlander XTP. Being in my early 40's the sport quad brings be back to the good ol days of my riding youth.
Right there with you I'm 44 years old and just got back into the sport quad game myself with a brand new Raptor 700R. My last sport quad was a 2006 Polaris outlaw 500 irs I bought brand new back in 2006. My biggest regret is being out of the sport quad game for so many years. Enjoy it🤘 and congratulations 🤙
Great vid, as always. Being Canadian, and the owner of a Sport-Ute, Dirt Tram really should be my go-to TH-cam channel, but your style, commentary and attitude is so much more me, I think you've become my defacto choice of ATV information. Where I live has some great ATV adventure possibilities, but I gotta say, wringing a sport quad out on your trails looks like all kinds of fun.
You know, it's funny. This is a good video a few years back I had a suzuki ltz 450 And I went over the handlebars. Going really fast and broke my shoulder and got very discouraged and sold it. Since then, I've been thinking about getting a 4 by 4. But in all honesty I don't really think I want to deal with all of the maintenance problems. I think you inspired me to get a regular quad. Once again l o l thanks for the cool video
I completely agree with your vid. Sport quads are so much more fun & engaging. I remember drooling over the 250R & Banshees when they first came out. My first quad was an 86 230 QuadSport in 1993. Bought a Yamaha Warrior in 1997. Fast forward to 2021…at 46 bought a barley rode great condition 99 Honda 400EX. OMG what a blast…like I’m 22 again. Should of traded in my Warrior for one. Currently adding a high comp piston & stage 2 cam. More Power Baby!! 😃😃
I can only speak for myself, but my Yamaha Grizzly 700 XTR does it for me in my older age. I don't need to be racing around, just slower and it allows me to enjoy the beauty of the nearby mountains. Plus, I can carry all the camping gear I need and even more. My bones appreciate the comfort too. At the end of the day, I'm not sore either. It's so nice to know that on my utility quad, I can go almost anywhere and do it in comfort too. These machines have both ability and reliability to conquer most terrains. When I want, I can haul ass and it's a blast. So, I don't feel I'm missing too much by not having a sports quad. In the end, to each his own.
I am 54 and I have done them both and I will never go back to sport ATV I love my Polaris sportsman XP 1000s and all the places it can take me and its way more fun in the snow
I grew riding ATV's instead of dirtbikes like my dad and brother. Quads just fit me better. I haven't had a sport quad for 10 years, and I'm really missing them. Especially after watching you and your buddies transition back to them. I currently have a Rincon, Grizzly 700, and a RZR Trail. I don't plan on giving them up, but have been really considering a KFX450 or a Raptor 700. The used market is pricing astronomically high right now, so the KFX is more appealing because I can find them a bit cheaper. But they seem in more rough shape. I know they are somewhat apples to oranges, but how would you guys compare the 2 for actual trail performance? Not racing, but for fun. Like how they handle real trails, hill climbs, wheelies and occasional jumps?
The kfx450 is awesome for trails! It handles much better than a Raptor so you can push it harder in tight trails. The Raptor is more comfortable and more powerful but the kfx450 is really underrated because it wasn't a good race quad..
#save the sport quads! Love it. If y’all are like me, when I was growing up, nobody wanted a damn 4x4 or utility quad except your uncle and your grandpa. Give me blasters, warriors, ex’s, banshees or any other clutched 2x4 any day! For god sakes someone really needs to make another 2 stroke quad. There should be an EPA permission in the sole interest of saving the sport. Have y’all seen what a decent banshee goes for nowadays? Crazy. Here in the Deep South they just want to ride mud holes. Boys in the city put radials on older sport bikes. What the hell is happening!?
SPORT QUADS TIL I DIE!! Although, The only thing better than a sport Atv is a Honda big red. It’s a lunch packing, work light toting, deer hauling, trail ripping, farm working, hill killing machine!!
Unless you are riding along a side hill. I would never gave up my trikes if they could handle driving along a hill without rolling. A trike is a way more versatile and can go places a quad has no chance of following.
I’ve never owned a sport quad, only rode one a few times. I grew up on dirt bikes and I just got myself a Kodiak 450 this year for working and hunting around the property. I finally realized that I want to buy a sport quad for ripping around and having some fun but I’m sad to see the market for the new ones is just about dead. Although I most likely won’t buy a new one for a while my question is how do we bring back the sport quad? How do we get manufacturers to start producing them again? I would love to see more coming in at my local dealers and actually have a choice other than the raptor and the yfz. If we can all work together to do something to bring the market for them back what would you say we need to do?
I've had this conversation many times with some major players in the industry. The conclusion I've come to is this; Major OEMs are of the quad business. They don;t think they'd sell enough units to turn a profit which is why they left in the first place. I still think there's market, obviously there is if Yamaha is still in the game. But if anything new came out, I'd think it would be from someone like a CFMOTO or Kayo and an independent company producing on a smaller scale kinda Beta is doing with dirt bikes. There's other challenges too, ride areas aren't as plentiful, especially tracks where dirt bikes don't typically like to share track space with quads (which I understand). And then trails that used to be for ATVs have been widened out 90", rutted up, and theres 200hp machines with drunk drivers ripping through them.. It's not safe for quads anymore a lot of places.. I think if we see something new in adult size quads, there's a 90% chance it's Chinese.
I'm in my mid-50's and have been wondering if I'm too old to be riding my 700 Raptor , been considering a 750 Brute Force . I can take my Raptor on serious nasty rocky trails and it might not be as smooth and graceful and comfortable as my wife on her 500 Sportsman , but there is NO WAY I can jump the Sportsman 30-40 feet at the local MX track . Don't have any real mud holes near me in Colorado .
Love hearing that!! I'd personally go Grizzly over the Brute but I say stick it out with the Raptor! You'll know when it's time to grow up, but I'm guessing you're not there yet!!!
Don’t go to the other side lol I’m older than you & still ride with these guys . Gotta know your & Raptor limits or do what I did put a winch on Raptor for mistake riding lol That’s my red&white 700 in his pic from Theatvworld & Dirt at white Sulphur
Im 25. I have, and will only own sport quads. I've had a honda 90, trailblazer 250, ltz400, and i just purchased my first factory new atv, a raptor 700r. Just from the little bit I've road the raptor in these 2 weeks since ive got it im definitely in love. It does make me sad that yamaha is the only Manufacturer that hasnt bailed on the sport quads.
I bought a 500 scrambler when I gave up two wheels. The biggest selling point for me was the full floorboards. The whole time I owned it I kept wishing I had bought the sportsman instead. I had fun with it and could flick it around really easily. I just kept finding myself in situations where the sportsman would have been the wiser option. I think it comes down to that you need both.
I’ve owned a scrambler too, actually more than one of them. If Polaris had simply used shaft drive instead of the chain drive, I think it would have been much better. Yes it saved a few pounds but that low hanging rear sprocket gave you poor ground clearance. 3-4 extra inches of ground clearance would have been wonderful to have
Got one of Each! Picked up a 2021 Grizzly 700 XTR last year after being out of the Sport for 30 Years. It's Great for ANY type of Trails and I also got a Plow for the Winter and use it for Ice Fishing too. However, growing up riding Dirt Bikes and 3-Wheelers, I miss Grabbin some Clutch and Bangin some Gears....So I just Picked up a 2019 Raptor 700r SE....Best of Both Worlds!
I never had a 4x4 growing up. Always had a sport. My friends rode 4x4s and I went everywhere they did, I just had to use a different technique. My 400EX followed them all over the Harlan Kentucky mountains. If you know how to ride one they can even do things the 4x4 couldn’t. There was one hill at black mountain that was long and slick and the 4x4 guys couldn’t quite make it up ( this was years ago before 1000cc). But I could build more momentum and slingshot myself up the hill on the 400ex 👍🏻. I could build speed much quicker than they could. But of course that isn’t the case today with much more powerful 4x4s. But back in 2002 or so I could conquer the same trails they did and climb bigger hills. I just had to find my way around deep mud 👍🏻
Thanks for the reply! I would like to see Kawi come back with a new version of the KFX 700 Sport Quad with fuel injection and new suspension. The major OEM's are missing the boat on only manufacturing the old man BarcaLounger quads. The only thing I could see is the OEM'S sales number tanking because of a recession and the need for a less expensive solution (sport quad)
Just picked up my first quad earlier this year and boy are they fun to ride they're size allows you to go through narrower trails than SxS and yeah they're not as comfortable as ranchers but I kinda like how sport quads are more physical more engaging besides a modded 700 can take out most Side by sides out there 😂
I have a 450 atv for the trails, a 525 atv for the dunes (both KTM). Never have more fun than those but as I get older and after riding the my friends renegades I’m torn between them. You have to stay in some kind of physical shape to ride the sporty the way they are meant to be ridden. We aren’t getting any younger and injuries stack up when racing.
I just replaced my 05 Kfx 400 with a 09 scrambler. I've had it out once in the snow. It feels really heavy and doesn't jump well. Hoping it will be ok on the dirt. Someday I want to have a 700 Raptor. I'm almost 50 and my 2 stroke dirt bikes were just too hard on the arse etc after a couple hrs of trail riding. My modded kfx400 always produced a smile but it was so beat I decided to move on.
We love Raptors, all 3 of us have one.. They're great trail machines and a little easier on the body because there's more distance between seat and foot pegs..
Been thinking of copping another raptor 700. I had an 08 I bored and stroked to a 778 with 12:1 piston, Cuervo Racing head and cam, 54mm TB, pink denso injector, DMC pipes, PC5 and a dynoteck ignition with custom curves. Yeah I really miss it. So I’m going to grab another one up. Probably just bolt on mods this time maybe a turbo down the road.
1 vote for Yama 700 ! More fun !more shifting ! Keeps ya young even if your far from it !! 50+ is young lol Hope your feeling better ! We missed y’all Sat ‘
Great video. The number 1 thing for me is weight. A 400 pound quad is more capable and less likely to hurt you in a crash. Plus it’s easier to roll back over. I have 2 trx450s and will probably have them for the rest of my life. 1 is all stock for nice quiet night rides. And the other is exhaust and cam with paddles for the dunes.
And even if you do get them stuck , sometimes you can literally use your body weight to get them unstuck too. Don’t need as much space to store and haul either. A really small sport quad like a 250 ex can easily fit in the bed of a compact truck or a very small utility trailer.
I want to try a sport quad, but don’t have the money yet. My kq can still kick some ass though. Ride it like it’s a quadzilla with 4wd! If I get the chance I’ll rip a sport quad one day for sure, but my king suits the rugged and muddy trails I’ve got. Good points though!
In my old age I find myself not wanting to deal with all the gear selecting and shifting . I respect a sport quad (had an Outlaw 525 IRS) for what they are but now love just sitting back and punching the throttle lol.
My friend and I both bought new yfzs a couple months back and ride together atleast once a week hands down the most fun you can have with your pants on
4:49 where I live those goddanm side X sides make every trail worse mabye its different for utility sxs like the ranger general or any other smaller sxs those big can am mavericks and Polaris Rzrs make every quad need 4x4
Awesome video DO squad! I'm surprised the sport quads aren't more common up here these days. In the past trails used to be more on the rugged side. These days alot of the trails are smoothed out to make it easier for the snowmobile system to get packed and up to snuff faster. Anyway, far be it from me to suggest that Dirt Obsexxion not apply science to ATV riding. I would love to hear the case for the 4x4 segment buddy. Great video Chad. What's your rate for doing voice overs? Haha!
I was going to buy a Kodiak then I watched this and now I own a Raptor 700. I figured I don't like mud, cornering is fun, I don't live in the mountains.
I absolutely hated my RZR 900. I sold it after 9 months and used the money to buy an LTR 450 for myself and a Z400 for my girl and still had money left over. I will never buy a side by side ever again! There is nothing better than the thrill of riding a sport atv.
Although I’ve had the pleasure of riding a 4x4 Utility Quad growing up, I’ve never ridden a Sport Quad like the Raptor 700. I’m not into hardcore racing or drag racing, I mostly enjoy riding on trails or country dirt roads (don’t tell the cops), and I enjoy speeds ranging from around 25-45 mph, though occasionally I’d get out on the paved highway and top out at 55 mph (on a Polaris 700). Can a person still enjoy a Sport Quad for casual riding, or are they for pure racing mainly?
That's a great question! Quads vary greatly in their torque/power ranges. 450cc quads are typically high compression high revving engines, so they are more for racing... But lower revving and lower compression engines like the Raptor 700, the Trx400x, or a ltz400 are great trail machines.. They're easy to ride because their power and torque comes early in the rpm range... The Grizzly 700 and Raptor 700 use the same engine, it's just mated to different transmissions, so yes, it's an excellent trail machine... That's all I use mine for..
I bought my 4x4 for hauling my boat with the lower gears but your right sport quad a way cooler i never use 4x4 in the trails never needed it... I want one of those now for my second.
So how do you really feel about SxS's lol They seemed awesome to me, but then I drove a couple and felt no excitent. I just can't find the fun others talk about in comparison to any ATV. Zero excitement and Ive driven a 2018 Maverick X3 1000. Didn't fell a single bump in a very pot hole filled fire road.
It’s just not the same. The smaller 50 inch machines would probably be the only ones I would ever consider. Can still fit them on smaller trails and don’t need a huge trailer to haul them or dedicate a ton of garage space to store. Ideally the best solution would be to own multiple machines but that just isn’t in the budget for everyone.
What would you say would be the best size for a 200 lbs 5'7" 14 y/o? Also, Why not both? I already have a Utility, so adding a sport would be nice. Those goddamn SxSs!
We ride both.. I make these videos for entertainment purposes.. At that size you could go with pretty much anything 400 or bigger.. Im 6'1 270 and I have fun on 400ex up to a Raptor 700.. All depends on what you want to do. I like riding trails so the Raptor is my flavor.. my buddy "The Viking" races so he likes 450r(s)
Sadly, I agree with this video 100% - and I just bought a new Outlander Max. 2up on a sport bike just doesn't compute. Honda 200x and 300ex most fun I ever owned. I still occasionally grab the break to downshift.
Agree with all but the cost, raptor 700 costs same as base renegade 850, but the renegade has good tires, nice wheels and decent shocks. Raptor needs at least tires to feel right, and maybe a front bumper/nerf bars that the can am doesnt need. Not to mention skid plates, etc. Used to love my sport quad but switched from a 400ex to a renegade and not looking back for now. One day Ill buy a 450 just for the fun of it
@@DirtObseXXion I agree. I cross shopped between the raptor and renegade and value/practicality won out. I do miss sport quads sometimes, but my 400ex was so terrible I had to get rid of it and needed a change. I think the raptor could even add a screen like the renny in addition to those other upgrades
I don't know I'm almost 40 and I'm pretty lazy so I really like my side by side lol when I was younger man I bought a brand new raptor and rode the wheels off that thing. Then upgraded to a Suzuki King quad and now I have a side-by-side. I don't think I would ever go back to a sport quad.
What about dual solid axle atvs lol, mine is a 87 honda foreman 350 so its dual solid axle. Also I don't ride trails, I ride in the wild, in hollars, and creeks.
I am an ATV enthusiast and dirt biker and I totally see the thrill of sport quads but there's no way I could ever drive one through the terrain I ride. I ride mostly hydro trails up in northern Ontario and northern Ontario is part of the Canadian shield which means big rocks, boulder fields, deep mud, and sometimes steep rocky climbs. Some trails are for sure ridable on a sports quad but not a lot, if you try to go through a deep rutty mud hole on a sports quad then it either gets stuck or sunk. if you try to climb up super rocky hills on a sports quad, well I'm not sure if it's even possible to do on one. And if some of these boulders scrape the bottom of a utility quad then you're going to have to lift a sports quad over. So like you said; every machine has its place but if you're up north then sports quads arent the right machine.
Completely understand.. We like riding lots of miles in WV and 4x4s are definitely the right tool for that job too.. I mainly just try to make interesting ATV videos despite the fact the manufacturers do very little updating or make new machines
My outty 650 smokes raptors in 500ft all day. We race quads here all the time, dirt, ice, and the fastest quad in 500ft is the renegade xxc 1000. The only one that can rival it is a banshee.
That takes care of 500ft in a straight line on a drag strip.. Sport ATVs are faster on trails.. That's why 4x4s run in the morning at GNCC and pro women on Sport ATVs catch pro men on 4x4s
Grew up in the late 80s an 90s an watched the 3 wheeler transition to the four wheeler. The Banshee was the bees knees.. saw the evolution of the four stroke and loved the 400ex on up to the Raptor..love em all. I "get it" with the side by side.. but it feels less atv to me an more like driving a odd shaped suv. You have less control. I'm sad to see the sport quads going extinct. It's so much more freedom.
@@DirtObseXXion same here, the sport quads most ride the back roads around here...BUT I've been keeping my eye out for any old Yamaha sport quad 'for my wife'

My last sport quad was a 2006 Polaris outlaw 500 irs I bought brand new back in 2006. My biggest regret is being out of the sport quad game for so many years. Enjoy it🤘 and congratulations 🤙
My dad just bought a Raptor 700 and other than being rough on the trail, it is one of the most fun machines I've ever ridden
Definitely my all time favorite!
Yeah thing has never ending torque, and handles like a dream. Can't wait to take it out some more
Great vid, as always.
Lol! I appreciate that brother.. We have utilities too, but sport quads take us back to being teenagers!
Awesome brother! We're having a blast on our sport quads.. We had a really nice 400x last year that we did a video on.. Great quad!
I've been riding since 1978 & sport machines are my favorite
That's a hell of a lot of experience!
I don't think most people realize how capable sport quads can be. If you have the balls, just point and wheelie on, thru, over or under anything.
Great point! In some cases they're more capable because of the maneuverability
And when that fails, just lift the ass end(and possibly the front depending on how hard it failed) up and set it in a different spot and try again
Agreed. Every stable needs at least one solid axel.
Yup. Just pin it and use momentum and it rips right through.
SPORT QUADS TIL I DIE!! Although, The only thing better than a sport Atv is a Honda big red. It’s a lunch packing, work light toting, deer hauling, trail ripping, farm working, hill killing machine!!
AMEN!
Glad you came back around Dylan! You steered of course for a second there!
Unless you are riding along a side hill. I would never gave up my trikes if they could handle driving along a hill without rolling. A trike is a way more versatile and can go places a quad has no chance of following.
Great video man! Love it! 😁👍
Yep, the sport quads rule for fun!
You are only too old if you want to be too old. Peg the throttle on the raptor, that will cure you.
YOUR NOT TOO OLD! I’m 47 and LOVE being the only one on a Raptor 700R! 💪🏻
My dads 50 and kicks ass on my Kfx 700 meanwhile I follow in my LTR 450
Don’t go to the other side lol I’m older than you & still ride with these guys . Gotta know your & Raptor limits or do what I did put a winch on Raptor for mistake riding lol That’s my red&white 700 in his pic from Theatvworld & Dirt at white Sulphur

Yes!!
Fair enough! Both is definitely the ideal option!
Can - am renagade
Nice! I have a Raptor and a Grizzly too, 100% agree one of each is ideal!
Nothing will ever beat sport quads, and boy do I have a few I need to add to my collection
Agree 100% they need something affordable.. Unfortunately once they realized they could sell 30k SXSs it was game over..

I like my grizzly 700 but I’d probably look into a raptor later on. If you really want an adrenaline rush you guys should look into mx dirt bikes.
We're a bit old and fat for mx bikes, but we're picking up a tenere 700 tomorrow 😀
Just picked up my first quad earlier this year and boy are they fun to ride they're size allows you to go through narrower trails than SxS and yeah they're not as comfortable as ranchers but I kinda like how sport quads are more physical more engaging besides a modded 700 can take out most Side by sides out there 😂
Awesome stuff!!
Where’s that 2022 Trx 450r
Been thinking of copping another raptor 700. I had an 08 I bored and stroked to a 778 with 12:1 piston, Cuervo Racing head and cam, 54mm TB, pink denso injector, DMC pipes, PC5 and a dynoteck ignition with custom curves. Yeah I really miss it. So I’m going to grab another one up. Probably just bolt on mods this time maybe a turbo down the road.
That's pretty sick.. The big3 with a PCV and Cuervo map is definitely more than enough for me..
@@DirtObseXXion oh for sure but I’d caught the mod bug and was doing some 300’ drags.
@@KuntryBoyCitySlick LOL! That'll happen sometimes..

1 vote for Yama 700 ! More fun !more shifting ! Keeps ya young even if your far from it !! 50+ is young lol Hope your feeling better ! We missed y’all Sat ‘
Still sore, sorry we missed you guys.. Dealing with some personal stuff this week
I can see your point but I still pick my 2020 can-am outlander 650 xmr. Mainly because I can go anywhere in any terrain
Nice.. I'm sticking with my Raptor for the time being..
Do you think the Honda 400x’s are good?
Love em! Check our channel out, we did a video on the last one we had!
Bang on boys. Sport quads are sooo much better to rip on. Love my Raptor and TRX450ER. Great video.
Heck yeah brother!
My friend and I both bought new yfzs a couple months back and ride together atleast once a week hands down the most fun you can have with your pants on
Lol! They're a lot less expensive to keep around than women are too

4:49 where I live those goddanm side X sides make every trail worse mabye its different for utility sxs like the ranger general or any other smaller sxs those big can am mavericks and Polaris Rzrs make every quad need 4x4
Love the video! I truly believe Sport ATVs will make a comeback.
I hope so!
Sportquads are the best
P/S thanks for my red&white 700 cameo pic !

Awesome, thanks!
You guys should do a video covering the used market when it comes to sport quads and three wheelers
Haha!
Ha! Thanks Ron!!!! I'd loan you my voice for free bud! Like most people, I don;t like the sound of my own voice.
Dude you nailed it man no lies here!

I love my trx 400x but pulling it out of 4x4 and sxs ruts I kina just parked it that and no tracks I can find in the Pittsburgh area
Totally get that.. Getting rough around here too
I was going to buy a Kodiak then I watched this and now I own a Raptor 700.
That's awesome!!! Couldn't agree more!
Hey, I made the vidieo. The yellow Suzuki during the ixcr king of the mountain race at the start I was the guy that came in a lot to hot
LOL!! Awesome! That was a great day.. Love seeing hundreds of quads lined up. And then of course the blur that is Brycean Neal
Great video I agree 💯 %
Riding a sport quad is like nothing else
🤘
I bought my 4x4 for hauling my boat with the lower gears but your right sport quad a way cooler i never use 4x4 in the trails never needed it... I want one of those now for my second.
We have 4x4s too but nothing beats a sport machine on the trails
Ran the piss out of my trx 450 for 8 years and only had to change a spark plug wire in all those years.
Hopefully someone is still out there running the piss out of er!
@@DirtObseXXion yup! ;)
If Honda made a sport 4x4, kinda like the renegade and scrambler, but had a 5 speed manual clutch….I’d buy one tomorrow
So how do you really feel about SxS's lol
They seemed awesome to me, but then I drove a couple and felt no excitent. I just can't find the fun others talk about in comparison to any ATV. Zero excitement and Ive driven a 2018 Maverick X3 1000. Didn't fell a single bump in a very pot hole filled fire road.
I've been fortunate to have driven a lot of the latest models... 0 interest in ever owning one.. im with you, ATVs are more exciting!
Agree, no excitement.
Totally agree 👍 bro razer can't keep up always see them with broken axle nothing compares to an atv shifting those gears more adrenaline
Hell yeah! Thanks for checking out the vid!
I found it hard to use my sports quad to haul my ice fishing gear out to the lake but my utility quad sucks on the trails, so I got both lol
I hear ya.. Glad someone understood that clip I included of grabbing the brake to shift.. 😁
One day Ill buy a 450 just for the fun of it
That's true.. I think they need an XT-R Raptor that has better tires, bumpers, and skids.. The R SE doesn't quite get there
@@DirtObseXXion I agree.
I have a trx 300 an its so fun too ride over hear in Puerto Rico we have a verity of trails like hill climbs and xc and i love it
Awesome!
What about dual solid axle atvs lol, mine is a 87 honda foreman 350 so its dual solid axle.
Also I don't ride trails, I ride in the wild, in hollars, and creeks.
Definitely agree but plan on getting a 4x4 Honda so I can ride mud and deep creeks ect
@@DirtObseXXion yeah dude, keep on making awesome content, love your channel!

As long as you have handlebars and a saddle not a steering wheel and a gas pedal you’ve got your priorities straight!
Heck yeah! Screw steering wheels!
I’m a beginner I would like a sports quad with a clutch does the Yamaha 700 have that
? And where do you recommend places to order from
Yep. Not sure about where to order, but you can check your local Yamaha dealership first.
Love love love this. I agree 100%
It depends on what you’re going to use it for 😊
some side by sides are really fun but nothing matches doing 60mph down a trail leaning through a corner
🤘
My outty 650 smokes raptors in 500ft all day. We race quads here all the time, dirt, ice, and the fastest quad in 500ft is the renegade xxc 1000. The only one that can rival it is a banshee.
That takes care of 500ft in a straight line on a drag strip.. Sport ATVs are faster on trails.. That's why 4x4s run in the morning at GNCC and pro women on Sport ATVs catch pro men on 4x4s
Thanks for the video! Enjoyed it
Grew up in the late 80s an 90s an watched the 3 wheeler transition to the four wheeler.
SXSs just aren't the same.. And they ruin trails for us..
