Marnie got the best rival theme out of all of the rivals in sword and shield.
The Sinnoh region has my favorite soundtrack out of all the Pokémon games, I just love how it sounds. Scarlet and Violet also has an amazing soundtrack. And don't even get me started on the Mystery Dungeon soundtracks, Pokémon just has a history of amazing music and I love the music from all the games.
I agree!! Gen 4 went crazyyyyy and scarlet & violet comes close!! But I’ll have to give MD’s OST a listen, it’s been a while since I’ve heard those tunes!!
@@Zenrold The Mystery Dungeon OSTs always know how to tug at the heartstrings with the emotional tracks as well as give grandiose adventure vibes, they're all great!
Pokémon Battle Revolution has such a banger soundtrack! Thanks for mentioning this :D
Of course!! Although I’ll give you a heads up now, I misunderstood some information concerning Tsukasa Tawada and him never working on a Pokémon game again. He did actually continue his work with Pokémon but on spin-offs like the trozei games!
Gonna be honest mate, clicked on this video because i wanted a short video to itch my brain. I assumed this video was from a big poketuber i hadn’t heard of, so imagine my shock when i see this on 500 views from a guy with 300 subs.
The editing, writing and video as a whole were on point - your voiceover was great and you seem to have a natural talent for youtube; it takes people a little while to get used to talking to a camera but you sound like you’ve done this for years, even the editing to supplement your jokes were hilarious.
Keep it up mate :)
Dude thank you so much! That means a ton that you think I’ve the talent 😭😭 I just write stupid shit then record said stupid shit and post it into a big mess of stupid shit 🥲 Thank you so much for your kind words!!
i need you to have a Pokémon Podcast EXPEDITIOUSLY. This was an AMAZING video and great listen.
Yk I was thinking a similar thing when I was watching the video back to check for errors (even though some still got through 😭) but I really appreciate the enthusiasm!! Homies like you are the reason I feel like making videos is actually a worthwhile investment of my time! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Rock music and symphonic music are the best for Pokémon to make you feel like you are adventuring and battling.
Nostalgia Pokémon music from my childhood years in the late 1990s and early 2000s such as the classic Pokémon Red and Blue versions opening intro music, The World of Pokémon music, Pokémon trainer's music, Pokémon Center music, Pokémon wild Pokémon music, Pokémon Gym Battle music, Legendary Pokémon music, and Pokémon credits music from when I listened to the music while I was playing Pokémon videogames on my Nintendo GameBoy Color, Advance, and Advance SP handheld systems.
It was definitely a trip down memory lane to go through all these classic jams! I’m glad you feel the same!!
Saw this recommended while scrolling, didnt think much of it when clicking on it, watched all the way through, went to back out, saw 283 subscribers and am blown away by the quality of this video for being a new up-and-coming channel. Keep it up, and you'll go far! Definitely earned a subscriber, and I look forward to seeing where you and the channel go!
That’s so sweet of you!! T-T I really appreciate it! I feel like I still got a ways to go in my editing but I’m glad that it entertained you, kind individual 🥲
This popped in my recommends and I’m glad I watched this. Very good video
I love to see a video about Pokémon's music pop up in my recommended feed :) I think this is a great summary of each game's soundtrack and their composers, people who definitely don't get enough credit when these games are talked about, so I appreciate the spotlight here. Some of the info I think should be corrected, like for Sun & Moon the Hau'oli City theme was composed by Adachi (perhaps you were thinking of Heahea being composed by Sato?), and Adachi contributed the most towards that soundtrack in general but didn't seem to be mentioned until Sword & Shield. I do appreciate your taste in Sato though. If it wasn't for Ichinose she'd be my favorite composer.
Tsukasa Tawada actually has continued to work on Pokémon games for Genius Sonority, but they're all puzzle games. I think Tawada is similar to Masuda in that his best tracks are his battle themes, and I think these puzzle games really emphasize that. Take a listen to the boss theme from Battle Trozei if you haven't, it's sooo good.
@@Tpcool Yo! I appreciate it! I do feel like I kind of sped through the history and I might’ve missed some details so I appreciate the heads up, I didn’t catch that 🥲. Especially the info on Tawada! When I checked his credentials I didn’t see any other Pokémon titles but maybe I should’ve checked with more sources 🤔. Thank you for the support! I’ll make sure to do my homework :c
It's like how the moon goes down every morning? On which planet? 🤣
But i don't live in the states i live in the UK! And i Don't have a gameboy im not spending £120 for a bearly working glorified calculator that has a screen so dark it makes darksouls look like Discord on lightmode nah im good
Lmaoooo well I think we got Pokémon at the same time so it still applies 🤔 but I getcha, no sense in ordering an old piece of hardware 😂 thanks for sharing!!
What do you know and think about legends Arceus' soundtrack?
Good question! I know that Masuda still didn’t have as much involvement has he used to but other than that not much 😅 as for my opinion on the OST, I think the atmospheric feel the game has works but there are also many songs in that game that are references or full on tracks and so the former half of the soundtrack doesn’t mesh too well
@@Zenrold I think it works cause they are atmospheric renditions of the DPPT versions
@@juandiegotorres9632 that is completely fair! What rating would you give the OST?? 🤔
@@Zenrold honestly same. It's not bad but with pokemon I usually expect their to be stuff that's atmospheric while still having a lot of personality and the battle themes to be high octane most of the time.
Beautiful retrospective. Just correcting this (5:26) correction. Satoshi Tajiri is the creator of Pokémon, the original director, and current executive producer. The main art director/ lead artist you're thinking about is Ken Sugimori :)
AH THE TRUEGREEN7 COMMENTS ON MY VIDEO!! You’re right tho! I completely mixed em up 🤦🏽♂️ that is a massive confusion in my end 😅I’ll make sure to correct it in the future!! Thank you so much for checking out my video tho! I love watching your stuff!!
