A mother gave her son a gift. Her son loved the gift so much he kept giving thanks to the gift. Does that sound off? Wouldn’t it make scene that the son went to his mother to thank her instead of the gift? that’s like how Hmong people worship their passed loved ones. They don’t have any super powers once they die. God is the creator of EVERYTHING. Give thanks to him, not to the things that was created by him.

@@amazinggrace8136 God is all mighty and powerful? Why doesn't he help those poor suffering people around the world? Do God/ancestors come to save you if someone push you off from a 55-story building? If we die tomorrow then so be it. Why complaining about nature. People die every day and so other organisms. This is the way it has been and will always be. Why depending on this entity(god/ancestor)? Why don't you depend on yourself? No religion going to save you if you don't save yourself. Why needing this entity to watch over your shoulder in order for you to behave good toward others?

You and I are sinners as well, (we have lied, stole, lust, hate, dishonored our parents etc) on the day of judgment when we die. You and I WILL die one day there’s no doubt about that.

If you don’t believe in a higher power why is it wrong or bad to push someone off a building? That shouldn’t be a such thing as “wrong” or “right” in your world view without a God. @@amazinggrace8136 I don't read any religion text but being truthful and honest about reality. So I guess you(or anyone) only being a good person because you don't want to face judgment. I wonder if the judgment is out of the picture how well people behave? I did not say pushing people off the building is right or wrong. I said if you're that person falling from the building and pledging the lord can he save you? Why can't the lord save suffering people? Why trying to avoid my questions? Remember God of the gap. I don't care where and who is my ancestor. It's all about treating others like you wants to be treated. Maximizing your potential by your own capability and not depend on this entity.
