I am at 19 months now and went through a stage where my hair looked and sounded dry too. Realised I needed to switch to a clarifying shampoo and vowed to never use castile soap again. My hair changed immediately after that first clarifying wash - softer and now retains moisture. Definitely give it a try if you aren't already. 🥰

I am in my 9th month I retwist every 6 to 8 wks can't believe how much my hair has transformed *yours too* love it! And even love the in between stage when it's a bit fuzzy and loose thank you so much for sharing your journey is been encouraging

Your locs look so beautiful and healthy!!! I think maybe I need to get mine retwisted more often because your roots still look like they're locing pretty well and I have like 2 inches of lose hair between my scalp and my locs and it is not new growth it's just hair not locing for some reason😩 I've been going every 6 weeks or so just because i've been moving a lot these past few months but I may need to be on a every 4 week schedule.
