    When I was younger I noticed my mother always said her rosary. I understood she was close to our blessed lady but I never got into the rosary myself. However now that she's gone 🌹Rest in peace 🙏 I have come to finally say it everyday. And I now understand why she did because Our Lady draws us closer to her. 🌹🤗

    father Gabriele Amorth, chief exorcist for the Vatican said: "one day a colleague of mine heard the devil say during an exorcism :"every Hail Mary is like a blow on my head. If christians knew how powerful the rosary was, it would be my end:"
    one day padre Pio once said to his spiritual daughter while handing over a rosary to her : "i'm entrusting you with a treasure. know how to value it. let's empty purgatory!"
    pope Nicholas the V said :"the rosary is the tree of life which raises the dead, heals the diseased, and preserves those who are in health!"
    and many many other saints and blesseds recommended it....
    God bless you all - pray your rosaries!

    The Ordinary Magisterium does strongly encourage all Catholics to recite the Rosary daily, since it's a powerful armour against Hell, but they aren't obligated to as they are attending Mass on Sunday or receiving the Sacraments.. What our Blessed mother has asked of us is more an exhortation than a command, one which no wise person would ignore.

    I have been praying the Rosary each day for 15 months. There are certainly improvements.
    I adhere more to my core beliefs
    I used to be an altar boy and went to confession before receiving Communion. The priest knew I was growing up in an dysfunctional family and yet he never told me to pray the rosary and to St Michael.
    As you carry traumas in your adult years you spend a fortune looking for solutions to the pain and depressions you have. So all these yrs the priest says nothing as if praying the Rosary is only reserved for him; scandalous.
    There are priests who walked away from my confessions complaining "that is not a confession"...….therefor I can't take Communion without absolution.
    The communion is shamefully handed out like sweets to all and asunder.
    Where are the alpha men priests who speak up for us and guide us?
    However I have just stopped going to Mass, after all these yrs and only go to church to kneel down and say the Rosary and Stations of the Cross.

      I came across your comment on Google Friday, two years after you’ve written it. I completely relate to you. Try to remember that our priests are humans, with all their human frailties. They will have to answer to God for the souls led astray. Please don’t let yours be one of them. Please go to Mass. It is a mortal sin not to. No priest is worth your soul. God bless.

    Those who perform corporal works of mercy in all their waking hours might not have time to pray even a 5 decade Rosary, let alone 15. St. Mother Teresa said that when the Sisters of Charity were overworked due to needs of the sick taking precedence over stepping away to pray, they prayed the Memorare. But, those corporal works of mercy are a form of prayer, and when God is the focus...when Jesus is the patient being cared for...that's a higher form of prayer. Not many have the fortitude to live out that kind of a spiritual life, so the Rosary is a merciful blessing.

    I can't claim to say it every day. I think my record for consecutive days was 54 during Fr. Blount's request for a 54-day novena last year leading up to Christmas. I say it regularly though, and while I HAVE said it in 15 minutes inside a church, I have never said it so quickly at home. Tonight I wanted to get it done in 15, and it still took me 25.

    well the holy rosary is an option not an imposition or a commandment . our lady requested it and pleads with us to help her crush satans head . so out of love for our mother Mary and to ask her forgiveness for killing her son Jesus . The holy rosary is the most powerful of prayers after the holy mass . So i try pray the holy rosary and thank Mary for all her love graces and protection while being a wretched sinner in the knowledge that im always free to choose to pray or not . prayer is always an invitation never forced always presented . prayer is our need not Gods he is perfect he has no need of my prayers its for my soul he asks me to pray .

    I truly believe in the power of the Rosary and I'm a devotee of the Blessed Mother, though I do not feel worthy to even mention her name. I was listening to the narrative in this video and was struck upright at chronomark 11:30 when I heard the priest note that Sr Lucia lived to the age of 97. I've read much about the events at Fatima, have read at least two books and seen two movies about same. I've watched a number of You Tube videos that dispute the genuineness of the latter-day Lucia. There is no doubt in my mind that she was a fraud. And there is also no doubt that this chicanery began circa 1958-1960. Now, of course, this cleric is permitted his opinion but what stunned me was that he did not even mention the controversy surrounding the bona-fides of the 2nd Lucia. Click a TH-cam "Fake Sr Lucia" and view the evidence presented; I believe any thinking person, if not convinced, will certainly be scratching their head. The video that delves into this subject presents physical evidence, facial features and the total 180 of the two Lucias. Right up until 1959 Lucia was retiring and shunned the spotlight and than, like a phoenix, is reborn in the 80s: outgoing, personable and with different teeth and a whole different demeanor. And let us not forget that in 1984 Pope John Paul II consecrated "the whole world" and Lucia, going against everything she claimed in the 20s 30s 40s and 50s, said, "OK, the Lady's request concerning the consecration of Russia has been fulfilled" HAhAHAh, hogwash! No doubt: Fugazy.

    • @kimfleury
      @kimfleury 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The devil's wiles have tricked people into believing a conspiracy that Sr. Lucia was replaced with an imposter. If you don't believe people's facial structure changes with age, you've never been asked, "Who are you?" at a family funeral or been told, "You don't look anything like you did when you were younger." Bone loss is real, especially in the jaw, and people do become "long in the teeth, a result of gum recession, which causes teeth to appear longer and to shift. Dental work also causes changes, and many elderly people must wear full or partial dentures -- very few people keep all their natural teeth into old age. Most people have fillings, root canals and crowns (which don't usually match the natural tooth exactly). I've seen those conspiracy theory claims and they seem nutty.

However, I am not here to critisize the title or the message because I agree that we need to pray the Rosary, I trust Our Lady's words. This inaccurate title is a bit clickbaity but I am grateful for it because it made me click on it! I wanted to hear what the priest meant when he titled this homily "The Rosary is Not an Option"! if the rosary is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY FOR SALVATION, why didn't Christ manifest the rosary on the day of pentecost?
    The rosary is NOT a sacrament. Mary did NOT give the rosary to St. Dominic. Even the Dominicans would admit that! I'm sick of superstitious stories tarnishing the reputation of the Church of Jesus Christ. How will a potential convert take the Church seriously if we continue to propagate stories that are not historical?
    also, whats the point of irreverently praying the rosary while driving? surely praying an extremely devout rosary every week is better than simply saying 153 hail Mary's every day. The rosary is one of the greatest devotions, but it is not necessary. if someone does not like it, they can pray another devotion and still obtain graces.

    • @aidanrogers5025
      @aidanrogers5025 7 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I started praying the Rosary daily about 5-6 years ago and not very devoutly at all in the beginning! over time God slowly but surely grants the grace to understand how great this prayer is, and then slowly, I started praying more devoutly. Let there be no doubt that my life has turned 180 degree's because of the daily recitation of this devotion. Devoutly or not so devoutly is not within our power, anyone who prays it daily can attest to that, praying daily is! and it's a necessity imho for sanctification. To Christ, through Mary.

      Look up the story of Our Lady of Las Lajas. Yes, St Dominic received the Rosary and yes, the Rosary is not mandated by the Church. But if you have faith in Christ and his Mother and believe that Our Lady is working for the salvation of souls with Christ and in his behalf then you'd pray the Rosary. Please prove me wrong if you'd like. Look up Fr Don Calloway and his talks. Especially at Franciscan University and his story too.

      why pray to her then? Why would a message mediated through her be more appealing to God? He already knows what I need. What can she give that He can't? That also goes for any of the other dead saints who were approved by earth to be saints

    • @lichonski128
      @lichonski128 8 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Mary and the Saints are with God and know the perfect way to pray. Some have special ways of prayer that we may never discover while here one earth. We are sinners and most of us have difficulty praying. We ask for those faithful who have proven themselves to be in Heaven (through miracles, extraordinary holy lives etc.) to aid our prayers since ours are imperfect. Sure you can pray "directly" to Christ, however our prayers always go through Mary and the Saints. We are a giant community of those alive in Christ praying for each other that we may get to Heaven.

      Then, according to you, no one is allowed to pray for you, since they aren't Jesus Christ - ever; and don't you dare pray for anyone else since you aren't Jesus Christ, either!
      Personally, I'd much rather ask the Blessed Mother to pray for me than anyone.

    Mary said herself she needed salvation. Mantras beads etc works and vain prayers in idolatry like the heathen and wiccans do to keep you from the Father. Condemned in the Bible.

      Readybrek Awake yes she did. Nobody denies she did. She was saved before falling & that’s a greater saving. Now we don’t do vain repetition. Notice Our Lord prayed the same prayer 3 times in the garden. They’d also pray the psalms repeatedly. Is that vain? If you say ‘I love you’ to your spouse is that vain repetition?

      Sensus Fidelium they aren't mantras or indulgence the rosary is. We're all saved that believe in Christ, repent and keep the commandments (BTW that includes Sabbath) but they lie in the dust unable to hear or do anything until Yahusha Ha Messiach raises them on the last day. That's why Yahusha said pray to the Father, all things all knowledge all wisdom all intervention comes from Abba. Do not be deceived by doctrines of men that are in apostasy of the faith of Yahusha.

      Readybrek Awake rosary is prayer meditation of the life of Christ through His mother’s eyes. Biblical. It’s revealed from heaven with miracles to go with it. Only man made ideas is Protestantism

      Sensus Fidelium it's not scripture, prayer beads are condemned part of pagan worship in scripture. Satan sends many lying wonders do not be deceived. How many prayers on the rosary to Yahuah or Yahusha on the rosary. Do not converse with the dead it is deception of demons, necromancy. Be not deceived and come out of Babylon, you have scripture to think on give up mindless chanting and works.

      Readybrek Awake if you knew what you’re condemning you wouldn’t call it worship. Prayer isn’t worship. It can be as in the Mass but the rosary is mediation & prayer. Moreover the saints in heaven aren’t dead. You need to learn we condemned conjuring up the dead long before Protestants created their man made ideas
