This set of scenes had so much to it. At first I was thinking about how cute and adorable they were together. The way he shakes his head and says "Really?" When Emma says they are very close in the other reality is just so precious. Then by the end, I literally gasped out loud and made a little yipe kind of sound. I was in shock because of just how quickly it turned around and the shock of what happened. Though I knew it wouldn't stay that way (based on BTS shots I'd seen that had to happen later), I was still sitting here with my mouth open and crying. They both played his "frailty" about fighting very well. Muscle memory is a very really thing. The way he's holding the sword in the background when Snow and Charming first show up is hilarious. Then he grows into it as it becomes a matter of life and death. I love how Killian tells Emma to save Henry and talks about the sacrifice he's making. It shows that deep down he, Emma and Henry connect even when he has no memory of her. He's willing to pretty much die, because he figures that he won't make it, just to try to see to it that she does. She's practically a stranger to him. Yet he feels that strongly to do it. Beautiful. Some actors "overplay" death scenes. I felt that Jennifer Morrison and Collin O'Donoghue played out this set of scenes to perfection. There was just enough emotion in each of their eyes, and every moment of it felt real. You really thought he was dying and not just acting like he was dying. You saw Emma's shock and heartbreak without it seeming fake. So bravo to all the actors for this scene, but especially Jennifer and Colin. Thanks for having this scene captured. That way we can watch and rewatch and rewatch it again. It's a long hiatus.
Also the fact that Killian had been written to be a coward in this story. Yet he still fought to save the people he had literally just met, but had grown to care for. In my opinion that is a true hero. But the fact that he completely changed from how he was written to his own person is great! Because that just shows that anyone can change their story, and nobody writes their fate except them. Another thing, Killian is the only person who was a villain who didn't think the only way he could get his happy ending was either with the author or removing the dark side from himself. He has always believed you have to fight for what you want, and that is what he has always done! That's what makes him my favourite character!
I love how when hook and charming are fighting, she doesn't even worry about her father getting injured, she is only focused on hook and whether he makes it out alive. Even though charming and snow are bad, Emma knows who they truly are,(her parents) but in this scene I can only see her worrying about hooks safety and it's so cute.
If she really knew who her parents really were, then she wouldn't have treated them like crap in the first place, when they were never real villains. And she should've known better that it was Isaac who made them do this against their will two times. At least she in a way paid and suffered for what she did to them for nothing. Charming's a better fighter in the real world, cause after all, he had a better teacher, Anna.
This would now be the SECOND time he's gotten jealous of himself. First Present-Hook getting jealous of Past-Hook when Emma was flirting with him and kissing him, now AU-Hook getting jealous of Real-Hook. And all over Emma! I love it!
This scene is so sad cause you can see Emma stop breathing when first sighting her parents, you can tell that she wanted to run and hugged them but cant because of their memory lost , now Emma see how good she had it with her parents being Hero instead of a villain

this scene is amazing and I love it. it's the way hook is gentle and vulnerable and the way he doesn't know how to use a sword gets me, and his total loss of confidence in himself and when he thinks he has the sword at evil snow you can see his confidence slowly come back
When heartless!David hears the line, "You're my parents", I headcanon that the curse is broken just a little bit for him. You can almost see the recognition and love in his eyes. It's so cute!
I know this is just an alternate world or something like that that the writer tried to make where the good were bad and the bad were good but...I never forgave Charming for killing hook. Honestly I didn’t like his character much to begin with already and then seeing him kill him just made me more pissed off. So happy he ain’t actually dead though ❤️
