I have older version, the V11. Going for around $350 with black friday deals. I think I paid 850 back in the day when it came out and it was one off the best purchases I ever made. All depends on usage. Being able to take 2-5 minutes to clean up most the house is just so much easier than the wires. Dyson moving the right direction. When justifying cost back when, it was a lot cheaper than paying for cleaning service.
I had a Dyson ball but hurricane Helen gobbled that up. Now I need one that also helps clean up puppy pee & poop areas...yes the puppy made it through Helene by floating on the bed. Where's the recommended place to buy the submarine or other? (not sure which to buy). Thanks
I just bought this vacuum. Haven’t used the submarine component as yet but it looks very fiddley. Tbh, w small spills, I’d be more inclined to use some paper towel; seems simpler. I like the fact that Dysons are lightweight and quite sleek looking but disappointed the ‘boost’ option only works for max 7 or 10 minutes. I guess one could always buy another battery w which to alternate. However, I’ve heard they’re expensive.
The new Dyson, I think the wash g1 or something, doesn't use any suction. I watched their launch video. It's very interesting. Not a Dyson fan but could be interesting.
Thanks for showing the Submarine attachment. I got the best buy version but not the Submarine version. Seems like its not bad but its not worth the extra cost for the Submarine. Given the sales all the AD have on the V15 one the best options for the price. Only thing is the trigger vs the button, someone like my mom could not use the V15 for long if at all given the trigger. Depending on what they come out with from now till black Friday debating what might be good for my mom. Might get her a robot too, just have to see her new place and what she wants things to do. Base line just cant go wrong with a V15 on sale.
I watched a different review which stated the submarine head can't be used on any other model; something to do with the software 🤷♂️. Apparently that's why they don't sell the submarine head.
@@markrogers4111The software issue is that there’s no way to update a Dyson vacuum, and the submarine attachment requires the vacuum to power the attachment but not turn on suction, something vacuums made before the submarine can’t do.
I liked your review :) informative, thx for the effort! I wonder what to buy and this for the money seems to be the best, I used to have a simple Hoover in the UK, but it always felt like it is leaving dust behind, as if it puffs some of the dust though the exhaust because after an hour or so I can find dust settled
The Dyson V15 Detect Submarine is a terrible value for $949. You're paying $350 for a spin mop attachment. Much better off with a Dyson V12 Detect Slim for $479 and the mop of your choice. The LG CordZero Kompressor and Samsung Jet are better values including 2 batteries and a charging stand for under $500.
@@Metalkit404 I would complain about the Submarine mop attachment. They're very messy to empty and cleanup is required after each use. All vacuum-mops are pretty messy too. I prefer a regular mop, a spray mop, or a spin mop.
I reckon it would be easier to use some paper towel, then vinegar, dishwashing liquid and water to clean. Remember you’ve got to clean the submarine after use - yuk w dealing w the pee sucked up!!
just wear cleaning gloves? Why waste all that paper and in the end, you'd still have to pick up that paper. It's much better to use this mop attachment with some cleaning liquid in its water tank.
I decided to buy a Dyson vacuum cleaner because you reviewed it so well.😊
Hope you like it!
The vacuum cleaner works great and I love it🥰🙏
This video saved me from impulse buying this vacuum lol, thanks dad
Glad I could help

Is the new one out yet, with suction on the wet mop?

I found that if we want to reduce our effort, while washing clean from side to side and then due to inertia it is much easier to wash

I have the V15 detect and I love it but my question is, can you buy the submarine attachment separately and will it work with my current v15?

Thanks. This video helped me to make up my mind.
will you be reviewing the H14? Checking if they fixed the hot water washing issue from the H13 etc? :)

Dyson realised this and has 30% specials on this.
But if you got it for free would you complain?

All I can say is the Dyson v15 detect submarine sucks very well
