That first generation Ram is going to be a complete rot box not worth keeping. You should sell it and finally get a good-looking truck like a 67-79 F250/350 Crew Cab or 74-79 F250/F350 SuperCab and swap in that Cummins you have along with a high-pinion, kingpin Dana 60 front axle(If the truck you find doesn't already have one). That would be a truck to keep forever.
