Legit one of the best videos out there actually comparing these in REAL WORLD. This definitely helps a lot of us who're on the fence about this new light. I am hoping that the HL-X is going to punch through photonic barriers better than the TLR-1 HL and the TLR-7X - that will make it an excellent compact carry light for those who carry in typical everyday/night conditions - looks to be that way from your videos!
@@abigailsaoirsefinnegan the X300 is good! I actually prefer the TLR-1 HL because it's a bit shorter with what I consider to be better switches. But the light is solid.
@freneticfanatic I saw the IG post a couple days ago. truth be told, I'm kinda disappointed. the standard TLR1-HL is 20,000 candela. the TLR1-HLX is only 20k with their rechargeable battery. (still better than olight with their proprietary magnetic charger) but it's 15k with standard CR-123A batteries (which is what I stock up on)
@@freneticfanatic probably more flood. that being said, a 50% increase in lumens should have a 50% increase in candela. all the lumens in the world won't be very effective without the candela to back it up.

Excellent comparison of the lights. I have a TLR1-HL, and I need one more light. Looks like the TLR7-HLX is the choice. Thanks much.
Interesting information. Awesome video. 👍
@@douglasphillips24 I appreciate it! Thanks for watching!
I think for the money it’s doing way better than most I already have it in the budget for the first quarter of next year
I like that it sits flush on a full-size glock!
Waiting for when they do a TLR1-HLX
Just released
@@guy_edc8099 Dissapointed. Just 20,000 lumens. (*I meant candela)
@@NestorNegronDiazthe release a tlr1hlx, but if they redesign the bezel they will call it the tlr1hpl-x
@@NestorNegronDiaz did you mean candela??

I like it! Great review 👏
Thanks bro!
I’m going Streamlight TLR-10G for a Glock 47 I plan on getting soon.
Awesome Video Matt & That Intro Was 🔥🔥
@ChrisFromThe740 Thanks bro!!!
I can't wait to see how Streamlight upgrades the TLR1-HL. On a similar note, how's the X-300 Turbo holding up?

TLR1 HLX just announced, 1500 lumens and 20k candela

@abigailsaoirsefinnegan true and i agree. I'm curious to see how much difference the extra 500 lumens makes irl

You got a like for the "mothra moths" comment. Well done.
👍👍
I have been pondering this light for my recent not a Glock Gen3 acquisition.
