I had horrible money management skills--bad credit, school debt, uncaring attitude to credit. Mid thirties, I couldn't do anything. I got an overnight job at a warehouse, stopped spending anything I didn't have to, stopped eating out, stopped buying anything I didn't absolutely need. It took nearly three years of 60+ hour weeks to pay everything off and now my life feels so much more free. I feel like I can do anything now. I'm planning a trip to Europe, so I can't recommend money discipline enough.
Yeah, see? A few years and you can be debt free or save up so much money that the next several years you have soooo much freedom. I saved up so much money in 3 years after I was irresponsible with my money and got in a car crash. I turned my whole life around. Now I don't gotta work 60-80 hours a week anymore because I set myself up with a comfy savings and now I'm investing. People are just lazy and want things NOW instead of waiting until later. Wanna know why divorce is so high? Because people WANT to get married, but they don't want to put in the work it takes to have a healthy marriage. It's no different than that.
Uhmm excuse me! Spiritual coach! 🤣🤣 For real though, people under the age giving life advice is hilarious! Which explains some of the the things these life coaches say.
Honestly, a simple formula for staying a head in life financially, is to: 1) sit down 2) write out all of your monthly expenses 3) add them all up 4) take that number 5) and do better than that number

I am totally opening myself to hate but just thought I’d add a different perspective. I am a life coach and hate the title life coach. It sounds weird/condescending but I have a chronic illness and wasn’t able to work a 9-5 nor go to college to be a therapist like I would have hoped and have been pretty homebound. The thing I am good at is helping people get to the root of their issues. Life coach is a title I can use to help others with the knowledge I’ve gained and make a living for myself but without being a therapist. Just like every field there are good apples and bad. I totally understand your perspective tho

A mindset of abundance doesn't cause credit card debt. In fact, it does the opposite, because a true mindset of abundance means you can be satisfied with whatever you have right now.
yeah but to be fair, being satisifed with what you have now is mostly horseshit, and it's the opposite of how our brains are wired. The only people I EVER hear use the term mindset of abundance are rich people who already have everything they could want.
This ! A mindset of abundance doesn't mean you want everything, it means you know you can have anything you want but you DON'T need everything so you don't pursue.

I've come to understand people will believe in stupid shit no matter what, take religion from them and they'll replace it with astrology, the occult, tarot reading, that reiki stuff or whatever it's called. They want to believe in something so bad, and of course there's always people who take advantage of that and make profit out of it.
One of the biggest habits I've picked up is asking myself "do I actually NEED this. I know I want it and might could use it but do I NEED it right now. Or is it going to sit there waiting on the possibility I might do something, while I feel bad for doing nothing with it". Then I end up walking away, I may spend 20 minutes wandering around the store thinking about it but 98% of the time I don't waste the money. If it's online, it'll spend a week or more sitting in the shopping cart and then I end up deleting it. If you can go an extended period without it, you didn't need to waste the money on it when you wanted to buy it. It's reached the point where sometimes, I feel bad for even considering buying something I KNOW I don't need.
Absolutely!! I showed my mom a coffee table I wanted and told her I am watching the price and see if it will drop. She ended up finding one like it but a little better for less and gifted us with it. The mindset you have is a part of the abundance mindset!!
Issue is that she can mostly likely get the things she WANTS. She has disposable income left even after saving. She just w more moderation. Here in Peru we have a very simple dish called "The old reliable" Its just rice and fried eggs, thats it. Cheapest meal you can make and its got everything you need.
Eating healthy is spiritual. The most healthy and cost efficient way to eat is prepping and cooking in kitchen. Shop fresh, grow veggies in containers, set a grocery budget, don't waste. Spiritual people also know how to be grateful and humble. It's important to identify what is true spirituality and what is your ego. Anyone who looks at spirituality as a "money grab" needs to reflect on their true intentions for life.
Everything that is leftover turns into soup. Anything with a bone, all veggies, and throw in any leftover pasta or noodles at the end real quick. And it's usually fairly tasty. Turn leftover fruit into a smoothie. Blender + peanut butter + yogurt or milk.
I think eating food is carnal by definition (not that it's not important or cannot effect spiritual things). Fasting isn't one of the most common spiritual practices for no reason.
My biggest financial game changer is having a fully funded 6-month emergency fund. Suddenly you get an unexpected 700 car maintenance expense, no biggie, that's what the fund is for. You sleep better at night and have a better relationship at work because this is a certain energy of if I dislike working here I can always quit on the spot and get another job and I'll be alright for half a year. Ironically I have a relationship at work since.
Hell yea! I had a 3 month fund which I ended up needing to use, just got back to that point again but working on a 6 month fund now and man does it help out mentally knowing I got the funds if an emergency pops up
This behaviour once instilled becomes addicting too. You go from wanting 6 months to a whole year. Then you feel truly free as you could afford to take a full year out if you need to so you could just replenish yourself and do the things you enjoy
Unexpected car maintenance shouldn't be unexpected, and it's not an emergency. Just save money separately for car depreciation and stuff breaking down. It always happens with every car, of every brand, even my "maintenance-free" Tesla (hit some lost iron crap on the freeway).
Abundance mindset is actually about being grateful for what you have instead of focusing on what you don’t. Like yall said, she has warped that into meaning having a lot in your life when its not about that at all.
One of the basic principles of true Abundance Mindset in generosity. If you believe in it truly you believe the universe or universal creator is limitless, nothing is scarce. She never mentioned giving to anyone but herself.... She's also actually an escort.
So this "spiritual coach" heard a buzzword and instantly started spreading the concept without research what it means. Typical of these new age hippies
It's also the concept of attracting more wellness into your life, i.e. An abundance of love, of community, of happiness, of good health, etc.... it can include material possessions as well, but those which help improve and evolve your circumstance (but certainly not in excess!) - a structurally sound house large enough to create a comfortable nurturing and learning environment for your growing children for example, but NOT a mansion full of rooms you don't need or would never use. As Bob Marley once said "possessions make you rich? I don't have that type of richness. My richness is life forever"
Most of these girls don't have it together. I know a girl who has been single for like 10 years who gives relationship advice online and I'm like wtf....
This guy is a great advisor: remains respectful but is not afraid to point out the problems. If you don’t point out the problem you are _never_ going to fix it

I think you are underselling yourself, I used to do this as well but there's no point in doing so. I'm sure that a lot of people could have learned from your example especially today. If not for me switching majors I would have a similar backstory minus the kids and my business is going to be centralized on helping people that I'm starting this year everything from finances to general life help. The difference is that unlike this woman I have certs and licenses to back me up and I'll be getting my FINRA series done too.
I understand what you’re saying but even for someone who has lived a lot of life by 27, they haven’t yet had time to examine their life decisions and see where they went right or wrong…you can’t give that kinda advice when you’re still in the throws of just living through trial and error. And 27 is absolutely way too early to be able to do that kind of deep examining.
By 27 I had been with my husband 15 years. We started "dating" in middle school and got married at 15 thru emancipation.. Just turned 30 and having out 19th anniversary this year. Only 1 kid though. We enjoy going out to eat every night and sleep. xD

@@Soccercrazyigboman when she was doing strictly private therapy, yes. I need to learn to make lists to be more organized and conscious with my money. For me, as long as I pay my rent (I still live at home) and have an unlimited metrocard, im good. Money for food and all that other unnecessary stuff is what makes me financially irresponsible. I’m still learning, but it’s mostly about being disciplined.

Financial Audit is an awesome series. It shows everyones different lifestyles and how shit we are with money. It has been an eye opener for me and some of the people on there make me feel better.
Financial literacy is a real thing. I struggled with it to the point i had to file for bankruptcy... At 30! Truly a humbling experience. Finanical stress almost killed me, literally. In and out of doctors offices due to stress related issues. Once I stopped blaming everyone else and took a look at myself, it was easy to make the decision to change. Now the actual implementation of said changes is a struggle. I still have my slip ups but im living below my means and it helps i have a fiance who is good with money.
I didn’t go bankrupt but stupid decisions of increasing intensity had me at my wits end during Covid. I also did a lot of introspection and things got better. Still ups and downs, but it’s about PROGRESS, not perfection. We don’t dance to get to the end of the dance, we don’t watch movies or listen to music just for the resolution

Interest is a killer, and that's something Caleb often emphasizes and why having high credit card debt is horrible. One piece of advice I could offer if you have a lot of credit card debt is committing yourself to never using your credit card again (cut it up, throw it away), get a consolidation loan for significantly less APR rates, and pay it off. Depending on how much debt you have it may take years, but once you do pay it off, you'll feel so free.
I watched Caleb in interviews. He kind of resents his TH-cam fame because some of the comments can be so cruel and judgemental. He says the comment section can be unhelpful to his clients and it can sap any confidence they have to overcome their life problems. He says he could do without the large mass of negative commentary.

9:51 Spending “credit card money,” for me, might feel even worse than spending physical cash/debit card because on top of spending money, now I owe someone else and if I don’t pay them back in a timely manner, I owe even more. The idea of digging myself so far into debt, that just keeps compounding with interest, to the point it’s overwhelming is overwhelming enough to me. Even if I forgot my wallet and borrowed $20 from a buddy, I’d go out of my way to get the money back to them as soon as possible so I wouldn’t owe them. Spending credit card money is, like, the exact opposite of “a feel good” to me…

I spend my time on me and my projects! Why do i need to spend time in a place i have no intention or need to be there?? The relationship ended shortly after that debacle bec i wanted to help get her out of the hole while she was perfectly fine with digging it deeper..

Learning self discipline is one of the most important true mentality to get out of most things in life.. and most people dont have it.. Dont buy $10 fk coffee, don't eat out, stop following stupid tends that make you spend money,.. eating healthy is NOT expensive! its cause people are lazy and crave fats and sugars.. unsubscribe to BS things you dont need.., stop buying 1k phones.. stop buying $200 fk shoes.. stop buying shit to make you feel good,.. dont buy a 40-60k fk car when a 3-6k car can do the same fking thing.., saving is good but investing is best,.. analyze whats making you spend money on shit.. dont IGNORE IT!.. learn discipline and you'll notice you don't need most of the shit you want to buy.. I got out of it, I know most people can too..
I agree with the majority of what you said but “stop buying sht to make you feel good” is a dumb take. Of course in excess it’s bad but the sentiment that you shouldn’t buy stuff to make you feel good is backwards.
Caleb Hammer is great! I also watched Life or Debt, which is now on Amazon Prime. I’m old school and keep my budget on an Excel spreadsheet. It helps me keep track of what comes in versus what goes out.

Mindset of abundance is not about buying whatever feels good, it's about feeling that whatever you have is abundant and be greatful for it and live in the "there is plenty" mindset not "I buy plenty" mindset. Once you make that switch, there is no way back. It feels amazing.

As an adult, having Discipline is super important! It’s a skill that many people lack
Hey man that was really cool how you just shared your journey and didnt feel the need to get on the soapbox.
Been there and did the same, I borrow against my 401k now if something like a new roof comes up, I pay the interest back to my account.
Good job doing the work to pull yourself out of the hole you dug.
Dude, you are awesome!!😊🥳

Eating healthy is spiritual. The most healthy and cost efficient way to eat is prepping and cooking in kitchen. Shop fresh, grow veggies in containers, set a grocery budget, don't waste. Spiritual people also know how to be grateful and humble. It's important to identify what is true spirituality and what is your ego. Anyone who looks at spirituality as a "money grab" needs to reflect on their true intentions for life.
How is eating healthy spiritual?
You don’t have to be spiritual to budget and grow your own plants wtf you mean? 😂😂😂
Y’all haven’t heard of soul food 😂
My biggest financial game changer is having a fully funded 6-month emergency fund. Suddenly you get an unexpected 700 car maintenance expense, no biggie, that's what the fund is for. You sleep better at night and have a better relationship at work because this is a certain energy of if I dislike working here I can always quit on the spot and get another job and I'll be alright for half a year. Ironically I have a relationship at work since.
Hell yea! I had a 3 month fund which I ended up needing to use, just got back to that point again but working on a 6 month fund now and man does it help out mentally knowing I got the funds if an emergency pops up
facts!! good for you
This behaviour once instilled becomes addicting too.
Most people don't earn enough to save. Half of renters in the U.S. cannot afford rent at this time. It's wild.

@@SpoonHurlerEscort? Dammmm 😮

@@dadistos4538 I had no idea what you were referring to until I Googled it just now. So, no. Lol!
@11:00 “Let him cook, let him cook! 👀” loved this part, I believe your channel can teach a lot to young men about how respect and friendship should be !
Everything yall said at the end is facts. I just figured this out 2 years ago at 37. Lived and spent above my means and kind of skated by but it all eventually caught up to me. Started disciplining myself, paid off my maxed out credit card, started eating better, etc. and now happier. Only wish I would've disciplined myself in my 20s instead of approaching 40. Anyone reading this in your 20s, please get your shit together now. IT WILL catch up to you eventually.
That’s good you got it together may you always be blessed and happy 🥹🥰
I’ll be 30 this year and my goal is to do better financially before the year ends. I barely have a savings account. I spend way above my means.
Just turned 29 and aggressively attacking credit card/student loan debt with the 7 Baby Steps. I wish I had never put myself in this situation, but I will be debt free in the next 24 months.
A life coach at 27!!!
You’ve hardly lived….
You can be a life coach when you hit 55 - THEN you actually have some experience.
It's not really about age but what you're doing with your life. Some people at 55 have done nothing much with their lives. I'd be much more interested in what they've actually accomplished
she's probably coaching teens with their anger issues XD
She’s pretty much an escort. People in the comments did their research
"Discipline is Freedom"
That is Profound. I believe if we can grasp this concept, life can be more meaningful.
I love Caleb's bluntness and honesty, a breath a fresh air
"A mindset of abundance" = Credit card debt 😂
Manifest queen
Well she’s abundant in debt. Does that count? 🤔🤣
But dont we all where that person in out twenties?😊

When an accountant/auditor gives a life coach, life lessons... You got to love life's sense of humor! 😂😂😂
This man is the type of friend everyone needs. Mad respect.

Financial Audit is one of my favorite channels! He thought me a lot and so did all the guests! Nice to see him featured on here he's the man!
"Discipline is freedom" 💯🎯
I have to commend her for honesty and take all that she need to hear on the chin. Most people in her shoes will get emotionally defensive and walk off.
She's a life coach all right, coaching people how to block out reality.
Its just selling you a dream. You can go to social worker for free.
@@fungdark8270 Yo, I like that. Therapy helps and continued accountability keeps me on track. Ignoring that impulse to buy something I want and using rationale like, well it's only $60 is a weekly fight.
The auditor's name is Caleb Hammer, and his TH-cam channel is amazing!
He should rename his channel "Hammer Time".
Right like what an underrated channel. Said he’s trying to hit 100k subscribers.. more like 1 mil now
I watched Caleb in interviews. He kind of resents his TH-cam fame because some of the comments can be so cruel and judgemental. He says the comment section can be unhelpful to his clients and it can sap any confidence they have to overcome their life problems. He says he could do without the large mass of negative commentary.
@@SeemsLogical Every rose has its thorn, Caleb already helps his clients on a financial side so he's probably able to deal with it on a social network level.
How did you write this 8 days ago?
"A mindset of abundance." You nailed that shit! The auditor is fantastic and BRUTALLY HONEST!
My mom is a property manager and one of her old tenants was a “life coach” and every roommate she brought in within a month was trying desperately to break the lease cause she’s psychotic 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Idk why that was so funny but that’s hilarious!! 😂😂
Man i love caleb hammer, glad you're covering his channel
She looks like she’d like a pumpkin spice mocha latte, she even got the hat.😂
LMAO!!!!!
It's like she saw the Meat Canyon cartoon and said "that fit goes hard"
She looks like she belongs on the hub or OF instead of this stunt she's pulling.
It's drugs most likely and bad spending habits like coffee.
OMG, I JUST NOTICED THAT TOO! SHE DOES LOOK JUST LIKE THE MEATCANYON PUMPKIN SPICE GIRL 😂😂😂😂@MrWilson812
Yo shout out Caleb Hammer! I love his videos, especially the financial audit series! This was definitely a crazy episode. His videos really help put things in perspective as far as how a lot of people are doing financially. Makes me feel a bit better knowing I don't have the same "abundance mindset" like her, and I dont put myself in crippling debt.
I totally respect this financial advisor on keeping it real and raw to this woman on her BS! This is the type of person I need in my inner circle to keep it real with me. We keep it real with each other to better ourselves. They hate the honesty but dam we need it to become a better version of ourselves.
“Maxing out credit cards, playing bball outside of the school” 😭😭😭
The world needs more people like this man. I'm so so tired of seeing people placate to people's feelings in the name of "live your truth." It's so refreshing to see him just give it to her straight, no chaser, and so maintain a genuine effort to support her to be her best. We need more of this, in all areas of life, idc idc idc.
let me correct that.
WOMEN placate to WOMEN'S feelings, never men. Men are left to "suck it up" or to "man up".
Yeah it's literally only women that do that. Talk to any man that's not gay or a male feminist and you'll get the same treatment caleb is giving

Caleb is awesome, highly recommend his channel
thats the most 37 years looking 27 year old ive seen in a while
thats what fakeness does to ones looks. Fake tans, dyed hair, constant makeup, etc.
😂😂 bro I’m done this is too accurate.
Notice how the space between her nose and lips don’t move, she had some bad lip fillers done and it spilled out.
nah, she looks like 28. she has some youth in her.
Gen Z
Calebs financial audit content is awesome. Its entertaining and you can learn a bit about being accountable for your own choices when it comes to spending.
Dude is dismantling her piece by piece 😂
I love Caleb’s videos! His financial roasting of others has taught me to turn my financial situation around. I’ve learned to say, “no f… you” to myself when I want to spend outside my means. I 💯 recommend his videos.
Spending credit card money is, like, the exact opposite of “a feel good” to me…
Yeah absolutely hate that feeling. Had a gf who was 30k in credit card debt and i wanted to help her pay it off and get a clean slate and only use it for emergency... i hate the feeling to owe anybody anything.. but she was perfectly fine with the debt and worked 2 jobs and complained about having to work and how tired she was all the time bec of it.. but i couldn't feel sorry for her bec she refused to stop using them... had a stack of like 20 cards and she was absolutely miserable and still is,while i worked my 9-5 able to pay my bills and relax at home and pay for what i want when i want and she was extremely jealous of my situation and tried to tell me to get a second job and to stop being lazy... my bills are paid, ive got what i want, i dont have crippling credit card debt why do i need a second job? I spend my time on me and my projects! Why do i need to spend time in a place i have no intention or need to be there?? The relationship ended shortly after that debacle bec i wanted to help get her out of the hole while she was perfectly fine with digging it deeper..
I appreciate yall putting this out. I am one of those poor people who eat out all the time and I need to listen to someone like this guy who will be very blunt and remind me the reasons why I shouldn't. I will defiantly follow this guy till I get my shit together.
@bhante1345 That is very true. I just mean it is helpful in staying motivated. I notice, for me, when I want to continue being a POS, I don't watch or listen to positive videos. So they do help to keep me on track when I am actively trying to change.
Caleb is brilliant. I've learned so much from his channel about sticking to a budget, wants vs needs when it comes to spending and paying down debts before discretionary spending. It feels so much better to see savings in the bank instead of buying stuff i probably won't use.
calls herself a spiritual coach...starts talking about credit cards
I think she is the kind of person how goes to a resort in Bali, Greece or Thailand find herself, just a basic girl
Caleb has been doing these vids for a year or 2 now and you can see the him lose more patience as he goes. This was one of his first vids and he is way more calm in comparison. The guy really cares about people and hearing the idiotic finaical choices they make is honestly frustrating
As someone who has watched almost all of his videos, it’s hard not to become less patient as the excuses and trends with bad financial habits reoccurs repeatedly.
A lot of people would rather be in debt, than reduce their lifestyle to fit their means.
THIS! 👆🏾👏🏾
I loved this video, the first 1minute had me going to his page, I love his no bullshit attitude, immediate follower. I struggle with financial literacy, discipline and addiction, and have been trying to work through it for years, but its hard with where my life is rn, I finally have been able to get into therapy and soon will be moving out, so my root triggers wont be a major problem and I'm excited to push myself, looking for tools to help, and that guys one video had me better calculating and planning my future grocery shops around my mental difficulties. Bruh one video! For free! When any financial advice i got before seemed to point out the obvious without helping me figure out how to process it myself, it usually feels like a foreign language, when by the end of his video i felt like I was finally being taught the language instead of getting bad subtitles 🙌🏼🙏🏽🙏🏽 thanks for sharing, this couldnt have come at a better time really 😂
I gotta see the people who paid this woman money to "coach" them.
Because you think you're better than them? How is that going to benefit you at all? Ego boost?
Maybe not better than them but definitely way less dumb.
I think hea means they dont exist. I dont think anybody believes her tale about being a life coach
i was homeless in my early teens to my twenties, i never needed "spiritual" coaches.. there was old wise cats letting me know the whats up.. but in my lowest points in my life i fought to get out of the streets, my mind was not on fking "mentality of abundance"!. once i got on my feet, i said not again will i fall that deep and learned discipline.. i learned a lot about humans behaviors and mentalities while in the streets, and its mind blowing.. i was in a point where finding a spot to sleep was a blessing.. then i seen people complain when a certain shopping store was closed.. man smh..
I discovered his channel a few weeks ago & watch it all the time now. It’s so refreshing to see the tough love approach & calling people on their BS.
Love that you both are covering Caleb and his financial audits! It feels like a mash-up of my favorite TH-cam channels 🔥
His facial expressions reacting to her are priceless………😂😂😂
Preach is on spot, the discipline sucks, but the gratification at the end is amazing. And honestly seeing people suffer, kind makes it even feel better. Cause I know I give my kids a head start.
Mindset of abundance is not about buying whatever feels good, it's about feeling that whatever you have is abundant and be greatful for it and live in the "there is plenty" mindset not "I buy plenty" mindset. Once you make that switch, there is no way back. It feels amazing.
